Chapter 5 :
The Next Morning.
Natalie, Charlie and Jaden woke up and got ready for school and headed downstairs to find Kevin, Joe and Nick in the kitchen table and Nick sees them and said.
Nick: morning kids
All three of the kids: *groans* morning
Natalie: remind me why we have to wake up so early this morning
Charlie: cause we have school today, and we were caught staying up last night
Natalie: oh yeah, thanks for the reminder of how much trouble we are in
Natalie said sitting down at the table with them and Jaden and Charlie followed. Charlie sits down next to Nick and lays head on shoulder.
Charlie: hungry, feed me
Nick: of course but first we gotta discuss all three of your punishment. I already told Kevin and Joe what's going on, and they're gonna help me
Charlie: (pouts) but breakfast is the most important meal of the day
Nick: and you don't think watching a movie instead of sleeping is?
Charlie: good point
Nick: alright Joe, you take Natalie, Kevin u take Jaden and I'll take you
Charlie: of course
Nick: you, punishment room now!
Charlie: but-
Nick: move it!
Charlie sighs and goes to her punishment room and waits on the bed.
With Charlie:
Charlie was waiting for Nick in the punishment room. Nick casually walks into the punishment room.
Nick: Charlotte
Charlie: (looks at him) yes Nick
Nick: (sighs) here we are back to square one again, I am very disappointed in you
Charlie: *looks down*
Nick: how could you do something like this? Did you guys even finish that book report?
Charlie: *mumbles* no
Nick: I'm sorry, what was that?
Charlie: I said no okay!
Nick: first of all don't raise your voice at me. What is the matter with you lately? Why are u acting like this (sits down next to her)
Charlie: *looks at him* it's because you always treat me like I'm a baby. Nick, I'm not a baby anymore. I'm this much old now.
She said showing her fingers again to indicate that she is 10 years old.
Nick: (sighs) I do see that honey
Charlie: no you don't! You always call me a baby. You won't let me stay up late either (pouts)
Nick: because Charlie you're only 10. Maybe when you get a little older, I'll start treating you like a big girl
Charlie: you promise?
Nick: I promise baby (kiss her forehead) love u very much (hugs her)
Charlie: (hugs him also) and I love u too Nicky
Nick: oh I know you do princess (kiss the top of her forehead)
Charlie smiles and snuggles into his chest.
