Chapter 10:

Charlie's POV
I was still in my punishment room crying my eyes out as I hold my knees close to me. I wanted my Nicky but I'm in the punishment room for the rest of the day. I hate myself for getting my big mouth into trouble. This stinks, I decide to run away. I know I'm not suppose to leave this room but I hated this room. I'll leave and make Nick feel guilty about it.

I slowly walk out of the punishment room and towards the stairs to make sure they were all watching the movie, and they were. I also walk into my room and started packing. I'm going somewhere where no one could think of finding me, and it's the place I haven't been there in a while. Once I finish I left a note on my bed and threw my suitcase out the window. I grab a rope ladder and throw it over, and I climb down. I grab my suitcase and started running away from my house with my suitcase in my hand.

Nick's POV
I was watching the movie with the guys, and Natalie when we all heard a thud coming from upstairs.

Sam: what was that?
Nick: I think that was Charlie
Taylor: Nat, you stay here and watch the movie while we go upstairs and check on her

She nodded her head and Taylor kiss her forehead and all 5 us ran up the stairs to find Charlie not sitting in her punishment room chair.

Nick: where is she?
Kevin: are you sure she was in here Nick right after u left
Nick: positive , she knows she is quarantine to this room for the rest of the day
Joe: maybe she's in her room

Joe said and we all shrugged our shoulder and ran to her bedroom and I opened it revealing nothing but a note on her bed, so I walk over to it and pick up the note.

Joe: what's that?
Nick: I think it's a note from Charlie
Kevin: well then read it

I read it silently and my heart broke as I read over it.

Joe: well, what's wrong?

I hand him the note and then sat down on her bed and put my hand in his face as he read the note and everyone else crowded around Joe.

Joe: Dear Nick, I am running away from home because you don't love me anymore. So I packed everything in my suitcase and climb out the window. I don't know when I will be back but if I do I will always love you. But don't worry I will be in a safe place and I will take whatever punishment I deserve if you try to stop me,

Kevin: Nick what does she mean when she wrote "you don't love me anymore"
Nick: I sort of told her we couldn't have our special night tonight and she was angry at me for babying her
Taylor: I understand,I use to baby Natalie a lot too. But I understand she's not a baby anymore, and started treating her like a big girl
Nick: Yeah, I had to stay strong I couldn't let my emotions neglect what I'm doing. I needed to be hard on her so I don't feel guilty about her diabetes, do you think I'm a bad brother?
Taylor: no Nick, you're not a bad brother. You're doing the right thing. She still treats you like her brother and not her guardian figure
Nick: that's probably why she thinks I'm not strict on her because I'm still treating her like her brother and not a parent
Taylor: well that's because you're her brother, but you have to act like a parent around her when she misbehave. You can't let her walk all over you and let her get away with everything
Nick: I understand, do you think I can try to convince her to come home with me?
Taylor: it depends, if you go out there and find her before something bad even happens to her
Nick: oh shoot! I better hurry than, and guys please don't tell Natalie about this. I don't want her to worry.
Taylor: I won't
Nick: and if I get a call or something and it's Charlie or someone we know that has Charlie with her, please call me on my cell

I told them and they all nodded. I left her room, and went downstairs and into the kitchen to get my car keys. I exited out my house and got into my car and drove off and started searching for Charlie.
