:A/N: I'd recommend listening to the song while reading. Enjoy!

Romano was thinking about that incident all day. Was it possible for you to still be alive? But as a human? Everything was possible for the nation's lives. God, 3 of them can even see mythical creatures! But his pessimistic thoughts got the best of him, and he just assumed that it was just pure coincidence. That girl wouldn't have been you, you're dead.

The next day; he decided to take a walk around and maybe meet you again along the way. He rejected the idea at first, seeing that it was hopeless to meet you again but his heart just kept pushing him out of his room and to the outside world. He groaned and pulled his signature gray hoodie down then sat by a bench on the park where his feet took him. He looked up at the sky and relished the cool breeze. Never did he knew that he would enjoy such a small thing, but he wished that you were with him; laughing and holding hands like some couples walking around the park. Romano clicked his tongue at this, he stood up and was ready to leave when the familiar voice he was waiting for called him from behind.

"Hey, mister!" He turned around to be met by your smiling face, oh how he missed seeing it. It always brightened his day whether he was in a bad mood or not. You started walking up to him and out of pure instinct he took a step away. You were starting to think that he didn't trust you for the rudeness you gave him yesterday, and you frowned on the inside but decided to reassure him that you were sorry. Romano raised a brow at this. Why were you sorry? HE should be the one who's sorry for not protecting YOU! But then he remembered that this girl was just coincidentally a look-a-like of you, or that's what he thought.

"L-Let me make it up to you, mister!" You nervously smiled, thinking that he would decline as you two were just strangers to one another, but to your surprise,d he nodded. He, himself, didn't know why he agreed but that face you were pulling off was urging him to. He clicked his tongue and let her catch up beside him as she led the way to where she will 'make it up' to him, "This is-a only your payback, and I'm-a only going with-a you because you're being persuasive, okay?" You flinched when he spoke, not expecting him to speak and be quiet the whole time, but just nodded with a cheeky smile at his remark. This made his heart beat the same beat it had before you died. It all just felt so right, like you were really there with him. But no, his negative thoughts just had to butt in and drift off to that 'It's all just a coincidence' topic in his head.

"So...what's your name? I'm not going to call you 'mister' all the time, y'know?" You moved ahead of him and walked backwards to face him, studying his features. He had the same chocolate brown hair that was peeking out from the same hood the other day and a curl was weirdly poking out from the middle of his hair to the right. His olive green eyes framed with bags under them, and he was kind of tan. He was studying you as well while you're at it; your (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes and (s/c) skin all the same like how he saw them before. Your eyes had this small spark that he remembered the cause, whether you're interested in something or you're just plain happy. He wondered why you liked hanging around a 'douche' like him anyways, as you were literally a ball of sunshine.

"It's Lovino Vargas. Not that you'll-a need it in the-a future..." His gaze focused on your dazed expression as you stopped walking like you were remembering something but can't grasp it. Eventually, you snapped out of it and smiled faintly at him, reassuring the man that you were fine then continued your trek.

"Okay 'Lovino'" He liked the way his name rolled off your tongue while you were experiencing a wave of familiarity hit you when you said his name. Like...you've known him for ages...but that's impossible! You just met him! But you weren't so sure since your memories are blurry as well, "Here we are!" You stood in front of a small pizzeria, where he would usually take you out for dates... Romano stared at the building with sad eyes as he recalled the times with you then looked at the girl who entered first while he followed along. Now he was having second thoughts of you just being a 'coincidence' since not many people knew this place, as it was hidden pretty well.

"How did you-a find this place?" (y/n) looked at the brunette as she grinned, "Pretty neat place, right? I just happened to pass by here when I finished my homework." Oh hell no she wouldn't tell him that when she saw the alleyway where it was hidden she just literally sprinted to it without thinking like she knew the place somewhere deep down her memories.

"I see..." They ordered and of course, it was on (y/n)'s treat. While they were eating, Romano just can't help but stare at her, missing those times that they would usually joke around, and even the customers on the small pizzeria tagged along with their funny antics.

"Um...is there something on my face?" He snapped out of it as her (e/c) orbs stared back at him, that made his heart beat again. He cast those feelings aside, his negative thoughts still there, and shook his head as the girl went back to eating. Romano sighed and also ate his share of the whole pizza they ordered; (favorite type of pizza). Weird; only he and (y/n) shared the same love for pizza and the same type, his hope overpowering his pessimistic thoughts.

He just hoped; that the girl in front of him is actually you... not just some coincidental look-a-like
