"Kiss my ass."
The look on his face was priceless. It was a mixture of sadness, anger, and confusion. The way he looked in my eyes made me a bit uncomfortable. I waited for him to respond, but he only kept looking at me like I made the worst decision in my life, which nothing can compare to when I actually let him in my heart. I flinched when his fist collided with the hardwood table. His expression was mostly anger now. HIs jaw was clenched and I could see the vein in his neck throbbing.
"Shay, please. This will probably be the last time I'll ever see you. If the son of bitches catch me, I'll be done for good."
"Then why don't you kill them too!" I yelled, not caring if it was loud or not for anyone to hear.
"Why are you acting so bipolar!" he yelled back at me.
"Why are you always so bipolar!" I yelled at him back. We were both standing up, faced each other with frowns on our face. Two minutes later, we were back in the heated argument and throwing things on the ground. The costumers were complaining and the manager came over to kick us out.
Before we could properly exit the building, a dude with dark black hair with his hair covering his face. I recognized him from the club with Lux, Flame and Derek. I remembered that he gave me an uncomfortable feeling. Like he was bad news. Maybe even worst that Jason himself. But who am I to judge a book by its cover, but you'll never know until you get to know the person to truly know who they are.
As the boy passed us, Jason gave him a mean mug. I watched as the two glared at each other, both stopping to level each other up. The manager pushed Jason and I to keep us moving, but the other dude hand something else planned. The black haired dude pulled out a gun and pointed it to the manager that was behind Jason and I, then shot him right in the forehead.
Screams filled up the room. I flinched and let out a cry when I felt the hot liquid splat on my back. The black haired dude shot his gun a couple of times around the room to let people know who was in charge. Jason pulled me close to him and grabbed a few napkins from a nearby table and wiped the back of my clothes. I didn't dare look back at the lifeless body or bodies and ruin weeks worth of therapy.
But it already ruined when I saw Jason again earlier today.
"What the hell Bryce!" Jason shouted at the black haired boy.
He smirked and lowered his gun. People around the restaurant hid under their tables trying to stay safe. "Hey Jason." He waved causally. I frowned. I wondered how they knew each other.
"Hey beautiful," 'Bryce' walked closer to me and ran his hand down my hip, making me shudder. "You looking cute today, but not with all that blood on the back of your clothes. Well, either way, you look hot in anything."
Jason tensed beside me. "Stop it, dickhead." They begun to talk about something that happened earlier in the week. I glared at the two of them. How could they have a causal talk with what just happened?!
"Make any move, and we shoot!" Bryce pointed his gun around the room at the terrified people. Jason pulled me over to the cash register. A blonde boy with blue eyes looked at us petrified. "Give us all the money out there, now." Jason demanded, pointing a gun at his head. I gulped. Where did that gun come from? I tried not to cry thinking about what was happening at this moment. Jason's arm around my waist tightened and I felt weak. I remembered talking about something like this to my therapist, Mrs. Katernia. She was the sweetest and most comfortable person that I shared my thought too.
I thought about the breathing exercises she told me to do when I was feeling tense or anxious in. I closed my eyes and took slow, deep breaths, hoping that this will all be over now.
"Open your damn eyes, girl." I heard Bryce's voice whisper in my ear. I opened them and saw that we were now outside. "Run!" He shouted at the both of us. Bryce took off and Jason followed with a tight grip on my wrist.

2 missed calls and five text messages
I swallowed hard, then rolled over in Jason's temporary bed at Bryce's house. I remember crying my eyes out and falling asleep on Jason's shoulder when we ran into Bryce's jeep. Jason held me tight as he pushed my head down on his lap and rubbing my hair softly, causing me to calm down and fall asleep. The last thing I remember seeing was the sky flowing by in the window of the jeep.
I quickly typed in a message to Lux before my phone died. It was only on four percent, and I wasn't sure if there was a charger around.
don't wait up. im with derek so don't worry. I'll be home in an hour :)
Hopefully, I thought. Before I could lock my phone to save battery, the ringer to my FaceTime rung. Justin was calling me. Shit, what should I do?
I let it ring until it finally stopped. I quickly sent him a message saying I was out and my phone was dying. Lux also sent a message back to me.
K, but Flame and I was worried sick! Be careful, please! We heard that Jason shot someone today and the cops are looking for him!
Justin:
:(
The door to the room opened slowly and Jason's head poked in. I quickly hid my phone under the pillow and locked it. Once he saw me awake, he walked inside the room and closed the door. He was only wearing the jeans he were wearing earlier, and his hair was messy.
"The NYPD and the LVPD are looking for me. We gotta get out of here. Now," he pointed to the corner of the room where there was a suitcase. "I got your clothes, now let's go."
"I'm not going."
Jason looked back at me with a bored expression. "Yes. You. Are."
"I'm not." I spoke up a little louder. "I'm sick and tired of your games. I can't do this anymore. You just can't ruin my life like you did to yours. I have a life!"
"And you think I don't either?! You are my life Shay! You're the only thing I have left, and if I lose you too, I-I'll go crazy!" He said, pacing around the room. He ran his fingers in his hair and sighed deeply. He started to walk toward me with anger in his eyes. "I won't let Justin have you. I'll be over my fucking dead body."
Uh-oh. Now do I tell him about Justin and I or should I keep quiet?
Jason started to pant faster and faster by the minute. His anger seemed to rise from the silence that was in the room. I could see the veins in his arms and neck pop out of his skin. He turned back to me, pushing me up against the wall. "I want you...but I want it to be special. But I don't want to wait. If-"
"Jason!" Bryce yelled from the other room. "We have company!"
