"MIA!" I heard Yolanda's obnoxious voice.

"What are you doing here right now?" I asked her since classes were still going on. I had a free period.

"Oh I was skipping this period with Hyojoon." She smirked and I rolled my eyes, discreet.

"Come on, let's go to outside? Erica might be out there." She linked her arms with mine and started blabbering about her college applications and what not.

"And then I dropped the tomatoes on the floor-" Erica! Yolanda screeched again and called Erica who seemed to be smoking.

"Gosh Erica, they're gonna catch you here," I told her as I sat beside her and shook my head at her as if I was very disappointed. Yolanda took a seat in front of us.

"They wouldn't dare to," She said and crushed her stub.

"Bro, I can't believe that school's ending in a week."

"I know right, I didn't even fill any college applications." Erica said.

"You're gonna drop?" Yolanda and I looked at her. How lucky she is that she can afford to take life this casually.

"My parents want me to go to some prestigious Uni and I don't want that? They're not even listening to me,"

"Still, why don't you fill some forms in secret? We can help you," I said and looked and Yolanda who nodded with me.

"Thanks guys, but you know how my dad will probably start a shit show if I do that." She sighed and I understood her. Her dad's a psycho while in my case, it's my mom.

Almost all of us have bad relationship with our parents. Stacey's parents are too strict and although they do it all for her it's very suffocating and tiring. Erica's parents are typical rich parents that do not have time for their kids but still try to control them. My parents -- they're not bad but with sometimes, just sometimes I get so tired of them...but after seeing everything that they do for me and my brother I can never hate them.

Many times I envy Yolanda for having loving parents that shower her with all the love and care but then each family has some problems and I'm sure hers has some too.

"Do you all want to leave this place and go out for coffee?" I asked Yolanda and Erica

"Sure, I've been craving donuts since all day long"

"My treat- let's go," Erica smirked and we left.

"I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU GUYS WERE GONNA LEAVE WITHOUT ME" Stacey huffed as she sat across me, with her arms crossed.

"It's OK, we called you last minute, didn't we?" I mumbled and she glared at me

"YOU ONLY DID THAT BECAUSE HYOJOON ASKED YOU ALL WHETHER YOU WERE REALLY LEAVING WITHOUT ME," 

"Hyojoon's pretty cute - isn't he?" Yolanda sighed dreamily and Stacey huffed in disbelief while I stifled my laugh.

"Look at her fangirling over a boy when her friend's mad, tsk tsk" Erica said while taking a bite of her donut.

"Mia, when are you gonna date someone?" Yolanda asked me

"Suddenly? And I don't know, I guess when I meet someone?"

"What kind of boys do you even like?" Stacey also suddenly joined

"I-I I don't know?" WHY AM I BEING THROWN UNDER THE BUS SUDDENLY?

"Stop kidding, everyone has an ideal type," Yolanda said and Stacey nodded. I looked at Erica for help but she was avoiding my eyes otherwise she knew she'd be thrown under the bus as well.

"Ideal type? I don't think I have an ideal type," I laughed.

"Come on, everyone has an ideal type. Just tell us, don't be shy!" Stacey laughed

"Okay! Since you feel awkward I'll tell you guys about my ideal type. I like guys who are taller than 5'9 — at least and have a manly voice with slightly tanned skinned." Yolanda sighed.

"Um, are you sure you're talking about your ideal type and not Dwayne Rock Johnsson—"

"What about you, Stace?" Yolanda cut me off with a slight glare.

"Oh um, I like lean guys who are of my age, or younger, I see older men as brothers, I don't know why,"

"That's a weird kink," Yolanda laughed and I rolled my eyes.

"What about you, Mia?"

"Hmm, now I think about it, I think I like shy and reserved guys who are too scared to even speak a word to me."

"Are yo-"
"That's so-"

"Don't judge me, you guys," I smiled and took a sip of my coffee.

"I guess I can see the charm you're talking about here"

"Oh-em-gee! Cute guy at 4 o'clock" Stacey chanted

"Oh, he is cute but too short. Right Mia?"

I turned towards the oh-so-adorable guy they were talking about-- and the oh-so-adorable guy happened to look towards here as well.

"Mia!" The obnoxious guy waved

"Ugh, Huang Renjun," I groaned and tried avoiding his eyes but he was already making his way here.

"Look at you! You're so rude Mia, avoiding me like that!" Renjun scoffed and I smiled sheepishly.

"HA-HA, you got me!" I replied and Erica snorted beside me.

"What are you even doing here?" I asked him, ignoring my friends.

"Shouldn't I be asking you that? Shouldn't you be in school, right now?"

"Stop being a buzzkill Renjun, my friends will probably think of you as a party pooper," I teased him and he glared at me.

"Oh- Hi, I'm Huang Renjun," Renjun smiled and greeted Erica, Stacey and Yolanda.

"Hello Renjun! Why haven't we heard about you from Mia?" Yolanda smiled

"What, you haven't told you friends about oppa?" Renjun started again but I glared at him again and he shut up.

"He is just kidding," I dead-panned "He is my coworker at Kaito's" I explained and they "Oo-ed"

"I'll get going now. Sorry to intrude your get together," Renjun told my friends and after pinching my arm he was gone again.

"That was..." Stacey started

"Interesting" Erica finished

"Erica! Not you too!" I said in disbelief and they all just laughed.

"No wonder, you're off boys, you already have one," Yolanda laughed
