(I suggest you don't skip this first scene, it has a big role in the story.)

I slid into the crimson red mustang, I looked around it and smirked.

"Yea my dad got it for me a while back." Quinn smiled

"It's real nice, you sure he didn't hot wire it?" I chuckled.

Quinn took a deep breath, she chuckled softly and then looked dead straight at me. Me and Quinn only started being friends over the summer, she usually eats in the library though, always got her nose stuck in a book. It leaves me alone sittin with these middle class girls.

"Who died?" I smiled.

"Yea, real funny." She threw her head back groaning, she started playing with the keys of her car making a sharp noise. "I need to tell you something, and since you want me to drop you off at the Curtis house I might as well tell ya."

"Shoot."

"Well, once you left the drive-in a real good lookin greaser came up to me. He had such fiery eyes so I started talking to him, ya know?"

I already knew who she was talking about. But I kept silent, we were middle class so we barely had rumbles or any action with the greasers. Quinn always is teasin me saying I should've been a greaser instead of a middle-class nobody. Honestly, I thought so too.

"His names Dallas, he ain't the nicest but he sure is a damn good sweet talker." She giggled, "Any who, we aren't really dating yet. I haven't known him for to long. But I am seeing him again soon, I hope you're fine with it."

"Damn Quinn, you really done fucked up this time." I smirked, she looked at me dead serious as though she was holding in tears. "Look I'm just messing with ya, you aint gotta ask me everything, sure i've had my fair share of greasers but no ones like Dallas Winston. Also, I bet he ain't even at the Curtis household right now, no need to worry about me meetin him."

"Im glad you understand, Dally sure is a rough guy. I just dont want you to get the wrong impression of him, you know?"

"Why don't you come on over?" I rolled down the window and smiled at the now growing sunset.

"I would if I could but my parents and I gots to go to my brothers game. Maybe next time?"

I scoffed, "I aint even sure if there will be a next time. The gang might hate me, who knows?"

"I bet they wont y/n."

"Keith don't even know my name." I chuckled, remembering the night before.

"He's the mickey guy right? The one we always see at school pickin fights? He invited you without knowing your name?"

"Yea." I softly chuckled.

"Well I wish you the best of luck." She stopped the car and unlocked the doors. "Have fun."

"I sure will." I smiled, I ran up to the patio, hoping Keith would answer the door. I sure was nervous, even more nervous about meetin Dallas. I have heard many bad things about the guy. I completely left out the rumble when talking to Quinn. I didn't want her worryin about me. Before I could knock the door swung open.

"Hey ya made it!" Keith threw his arms around me, his breath reeked of alcohol.

"Calm down there." I chuckled, I whispered in to his ear "By the way, my names y/n."

"Good to know." He cheered.

I didn't want him to be embarrassed in front of his gang for not knowing my name. But, I had an hunch he really didnt get embarrassed.

"This your girlfriend Two?" I blue eyed guy smiled. My jaw almost dropped he was drop dead gorgeous. Hell, if he wasnt in a DX outfit I would've thought he was a Soc.

"Your Minnie?" Another man in a DX outfit danced around sighing.

"Yeah he sure wishes." I snapped back.

"Aint wrong there." He laughed slapping his knee, the whole entire gang started laughing, even the small one. Except for this one guy, he gave me a cold stare. But it seemed as though his eyes were on fire. I knew who he was.

I talked to the gang for a while. Two-bit, Johnny, Ponyboy, Steve, Sodapop and even sometimes Darry. Not gonna lie, at first I was scared of the guy. Until I hear Steve call him 'All brawn and no brains' he seemed to softened up after that. I kept eyeing Dallas, I could see why Quinn liked him, he was rugged and tuff, or was it tough? I aint to sure. Whenever I looked at him it always seemed as if he were looking away, but once I saw him stare back at me.

"So, y/n tell us a little bit about yourself." Steve patted my back.

"Well, I aint a greaser or a Soc. I live with my parents and I'm an only child. Sometimes, it does get a bit lonely. There aint enough action." I pouted.

"Well you'll get loads of action down here." Ponyboy grinned. "Whats up Dally, lookin pretty bummed out."

"I aint bummed out." His deep voice sent shivers down my spine. He had a faint New York accent.

"Why, you think your gettin replaced or somethin?" Sodapop grinned.

"I dont get why Miss Monroe over here can just waltz in. She aint no greaser, dont even know what its like to have it bad. Shes over here complainin about not having a sibling while Johnnys on the street getting jumped daily!" Dallas' voice boomed.

"It aint that bad Dally. Everyones got their own problems." Johnny whispered, his hands getting shaky. I could tell he was getting scared.

"You can talk bad to me, but don't make the kid nervous!" I exclaimed.

"Dont you dare try to protect him. You barely know the boy." Dallas growled.

"Look, I just came here to have a good time. Not to get riled up with someone like you. So just for a moment be a nice guy. I know you cant really be one, but you might as well try before I do somethin I'll regret." I stood close to Dallas' face now. I slapped him.

I slapped Dallas Winston

I felt numb, what did I just do?

He opened his mouth to say something.
