Days go by, it's been weeks since Ilya has left his apartment. He hasn't really ate or showered, just slept and did thorough research. All the time he had spent alone, it gave him plenty of time to really think. It gave him time to figure out everything he needed to know about Lucas and the company he works for. The only thing Ilya couldn't figure out was, what he should say to Maya and why he felt like he was missing a piece of himself.... Ilya goes to work for the first time in weeks. He walks into Tower III and Maya just so happens to be walking towards him heading the opposite direction, for she had an assassination task. Maya spots Ilya and couldn't help but to look his way. She wanted to stop him but Ilya glances at her and continues to walk past her without any reaction as if she wasn't there. That caused her to let him walk by and try to ignore the fact that she missed him and was worried since he had ghosted after their fight. Ilya doesn't waste time going to the food court, instead he requests an emergency meeting with Athena and Hades. During the meeting Ilya informs Athena and Hades of Lucas being a Rogue agent who works for another company called "Phoenix". Ilya thoroughly explains his past and how he has seen the logo of the company before when he was young and couldn't recollect until he noticed that Lucas and the man in the hallway shared the same tattoo. Ilya: This is it. This is what I saw.
Hades: We understand but, how does any of this explain why he's still here and-
Athena: And why he's doing all this? What's his end game?
Ilya: Lucas was only after me because the company thought that I would be a problem, they thought that I would remember them from my parents murder. The owner of Phoenix organization has some sort of vendetta against Ghost. Turns out that Lucas is the son of Max, the owner of Phoenix. Lucas has been sent here to destroy this company from the inside. Max grew up with a good friend who just so happens to be the owner of Ghost. They have history and Max seeks vengeance...
Athena: Your story seems believable bu-
Hades: But if it is true and it all checks out, how do we stop him?
Ilya: I figured that out too. See the company made a mistake, letting Lucas approach me with valuable information and not killing me off when they had the chance. Here's what we're going to do.....
Ilya discusses a plan of action with Athena and Hades. The 3 of them agree to keep the information strictly confidential and to proceed with things as if everything was normal. Ilya walks out the conference room and spots Maya for the first time in days (Ilya never realized that he looked at her earlier) . He watches her walk into her office as he notices that she is completely drenched. Ilya waits for her to make it through the door before he follows right behind her into her office, shutting the door behind them.
