Solangelo fanfiction: Significant annoyance

Will's p.o.v.

I was in the infirmary, checking on all the different patients. Gladly, today nobody got any serious injury. After wrapping some bandages, giving some medicines and some advices, the infirmary was empty. I sat there, bored, with nothing to do.
"You should go Will. There isn't any patient right now. I'll make sure you know if someone needs your help." One of my sisters said.
I ended up accepting. I left the infirmary and started walking. I was looking at the sky so I didn't see where I was going. As you expected all, I bumped into someone.
"Watch where you're going!" Said that someone.
"Sorry...Oh Nico it's you!"
I hope I wasn't blushing because Nico looked so dam good! He had his hair into a ponytail, he was wearing black skinny jeans and no shirt. Today was a hot day and he was sweating a lot. His sword was still in his hand so I think he was training.

"Where is everyone?" He asked.
As I looked around, camp was empty.
"They're all at the beach I think. How about we join them?"
"Go join them alone. I'm going to shower." He said coldly.
"Then join us after you shower!"
"Give me one good reason why I should go to the beach."
"The sun's ultraviolet rays hit cholesterol in the skin cells, providing the energy for vitamin D synthesis to occur. Vitamin D has many roles in the body and is essential for optimal health. A deficiency in vitamin D can-"
"Ok! Ok! I understand! Fine..."
"So you'll come to the beach with me?"
Nico let out a sigh then said "Alright I'm coming. Give me ten minutes."

I went to my cabin to change into something more appropriate for the beach. Then I waited for Nico to finish getting ready and we walked together to the beach.

"You should put on sunscreen." I suggested.
"I don't need sunscreen."
"You're really pale. Sun can hurt you if you don't use protection."
"Stop acting like you're my mother. It's annoying."
"Then don't complain when you get sunburnt."

Everyone was having fun. Some decided to have a water fight against Percy...it was a really bad idea.
Some others had a sand castle contest. Anabeth won since she did something better than just a sand castle.
Some were eating ice cream, others were drinking juice.
Some were relaxing under the sun, others were swimming calmly in the sea.
Nico started burning and finally decided to put sunscreen.
"Let me put it for you."
I took the sunscreen from him, and before he could protest, I started putting it on his face, then his shoulders and his back. I love making excuses to be able to touch him.

Nico's p.o.v.

Will is going to be the one to end me. Every time his fingers touch my skin I feel like I'm being electrocuted. My stomach starts feeling weird like there's butterflies in it. I suddenly start feeling heat, as if I was burning. And my heart starts racing in my chest like it was going to explode. Honestly, I don't know what's happening to me. I should ask someone about it. Maybe I'm sick.

Will put sunscreen on my face and I'm glad I was already sunburnt, or else he would've seen me blushing. Then, he put sunscreen on my back and shoulders, which made my heart go crazy.
"Do you want to go in the water?" He asked.
"Sure." I replied and got into the water with him. It was pretty refreshing.
"Hey Nico. Would you like to- AAHH!" Will started talking but then he started jumping in all ways, screaming and swearing.
"Will...?"
He got out of the water as jumping and I followed him. He sat on the sand and proceeded to take off the crab that bit his foot.
"That hurts..."
I had to let out a giggle. It was too funny. I couldn't not laugh.
"Am I dreaming or is Nico Di Angelo, the death boy, the one that never shows any emotion, laughing?"
I immediately stopped and tried to make a serious face expression.
"I wasn't laughing."
"Yes you were!"
"You can't prove it!"
"I saw it and heard it!"
"You're probably hallucinating."
"I'm sure you laughed!"
"I didn't!"
"Then I'll make you laugh again!"
"You can't make me laugh."
"Is that a challenge?"
By now he was standing right in front of me. Our faces got really close. My heart started beating fast again and the butterflies in my stomach were going in all directions.
"Let's make it a challenge then. You have exactly 24 hours to make me laugh. The loser has to do whatever the winner asks for."
"Challenge accepted." He said with a huge smirk.
"The countdown starts at campfire time." I said before turning my back to him. "I'll go bring ice cream."
