3rd person p.o.v.

Today was definitely not Will's day. On his way to have breakfast, he bumped into three people, couldn't find the door to the dining pavilion, and sat on the wrong table.
"Hey Will."
"Hey Pippe- don't tell me I'm on the wrong table..."
"You are."
He went to his table, but couldn't figure out where his food was. Every spoon he took was half empty, if not completely empty. Nico didn't seem to be in the dining pavilion since he didn't come to talk to Will. Actually he was oversleeping.
Will got tired of his day already after breakfast. He went to his cabin and went back to bed.
When Nico woke up and found out where Will was, he went to see him.
"Wake up sleepy head."
"Leave me alone Nico..."
"Get up Will. The weather is great today."
"I said leave me alone!"
"Why are you acting this way?"
"I'm tired Nico. Just leave."
"I won't leave until you really tell me what's going on."
Will was already angry, and Nico made him angrier.
"You wanna know what's going on? Then I'll tell you! I can't take this anymore! I hate not being able to see! Being blind is awful! I feel useless! I can't do the thing I used to be good at anymore! I always need help no matter what I'm doing! I'm a burden for everyone! I'm sick of this! Just leave me alone Nico! You don't understand me! You can't and you'll never understand me!" Yelled Will.
He heard no reply which made him feel bad for what he said.
"I'm sorry Nico...I'm just..." he couldn't finish his sentence. He started tearing up and ended up falling asleep.
Nico had already left by now. He was angry. Not because what Will said hurt him, but because Will was in so much pain, and Nico couldn't do anything about it. Or so he thought.

Will's p.o.v.

Next day I felt way better. I noticed that I overreacted...I should apologize to Nico today...
After breakfast I bumped into Jason.
"Sorry Will. I didn't see you."
"It's ok Jason. Do you know where Nico is?"
"Nico left yesterday."
"He left...? Where did he go?"
"He said he had something to do. He'll be back in one week."
"Oh alright...thank you..."
I walked around camp. Why did Nico leave? Is it because of me? I hope not... And why one week? In one week it's my birthday...I don't want him to miss it...

*one week later*

This morning, I got woken up by all my siblings screaming "happy birthday Will!"
I sat up and opened my arms to give them a hug.
"You remembered it!" I said, smiling a lot. They hugged me and said:
"Of course we'd remember it!"
"We got you presents!"
"Get up and get ready so we can celebrate!"

I got ready, and my siblings lead me to the dining pavilion. Or so I thought. The place was quiet, unlike the dining pavilion.
"Guys...? Where are we?"
No answer.
Suddenly, cold hands were placed on my eyes.
I was about to get up until I heard a voice...
"Don't move."
"Nico! Where were you all that time?"
"I'll tell you about everything. Just don't move."
"Fine..."
He took a deep breath, then talked again.
"I left to find something I needed, you'll find out later what it is. And I'm glad I was able to come back in time for your birthday."
"You remembered it!"
"I'll never forget it."
"Nico...I need to tell you sorry about what I said last week..."
"It's ok. I understand how you must've felt back then...I really wished I could've helped you that day...but now I found the solution."
He took his hands off my eyes.
"Don't open your eyes and follow me."
He held my hand and started walking. He stopped when we arrived near a river. He knelt down, and I did the same.
"Wash your eyes." He said.
I washed my eyes, and it felt like Nico had put something on my eyes. After I finished, he took my face in his hands and wiped it with a towel. He put down the towel and cupped my cheeks in his hands.
"Open your eyes."
I opened them and...I saw! I was able to see! The first thing I saw was Nico's face. He was smiling softly.
Soon, my vision became blurry. I thought I was becoming blind again, until I noticed it was actually tears forming into my eyes.
"Nico...how did you...?"
"I was able to find plants that would cure you. It was hard to find them, but I did."
I tackled Nico to the ground while hugging him. We almost fell into the river. I couldn't say anything. I was crying too hard.
When I calmed down, Nico and I sat in front of each other near the river.
"Thank you so much Nico..."
I couldn't stay focused on one thing. I looked at the trees, the river, the sky, but most importantly Nico.
"This is your birthday present from me."
"This is the best birthday present ever!"
"I'm happy you like it."
"I love it."
We looked into each other's eyes.
"Nico..."
"Yes...?"
I got closer to him. It was time to do it. I have to tell him. It's now or never.
"Nico...I love you..."
By now, he had his arms wrapped around my neck.
"I love you too Will..."
And that's when we kissed. It was a soft and passionate kiss. We were both melting into the kiss. It was the best moment of my life. The best...until I heard the 'click' of a camera. Nico and I pulled away to see Jason and Percy, holding a camera and taking pictures of us.
When they saw us looking at them, they ran away. Nico wanted to follow them, but I held his arm. When he looked at me, he calmed dowm.
"Kiss me again." I said, already bringing him closer and melting into another kiss.
