Persephone squirmed as she felt her body burning with flames, her skin sizzled as the silk gave her feathery kisses, the chair wasn't this soft even though it was velvet, but that wasn't the only thought running through her head. She laid on a bed of moss, something she had done before and she remembered clearly how at ease she was then, except now, her heart hammered in her chest, her body yearned to fill the emptiness only one can satisfy.
She had let her dream carry her away to the twilight of her desires, a dark figure approached her, dressed like night and the smile of sin, but she felt no fear, no unease, only shivers down her spine; her lips lifted, when she recognized, the spicy aroma of ash and ice fused together like flames. Those crimson eyes wickedly gazed at her, as his mountainous figure covered the sun; it was Hades. He stood still, but his hands skimmed along the contours of her body, the fiery touch trailed up her leg, to her rounded hip and ticklish waist, and his smile...took her breath away, his white teeth peeked through the grin, no wonder he didn't smile often, it was bewitching. The fire grew and fanned her body to become faintly uncomfortable, her eyes fluttered awake and instantly her vision cleared to see the sinful dream become reality.
Hades was on top of her, his chest bare and grinning roguishly, "Hades?" Persephone called out languidly still hazy from her sleep.
She could feel his grin.
"Awake now are we, took me quite some time," Hades teased.
"What are you talking about?" Persephone questioned.
He flicked his hand and a crystal mirror appeared on top of her.
Persephone gaped at her dishevelled reflection, her white gown was barely keeping her breasts in place, and the slit of her dress was moved aside, her legs were smouldering hot and she could feel the wetness of her core trickling down. Hades had seduced her in her sleep, like the dream.
"Hades, did you-" Persephone breathlessly strained to ask, but she couldn't help the colour rising in her cheeks anymore, not that she wasn't already flushed a brilliant rose.
"Sweetheart, don't be embarrassed, that was the hottest thing I've seen"-he dwelled for a brief moment- "well, apart from when you found release on top of me in the pool," said Hades teasingly making her gasp from embarrassment.
"When did you get here?" asked Persephone to the King who was starting to become very distracted, she could feel his hot breath tickle along the crook of her neck and the tip of her shoulder. "Hades," she persisted.
"I arrived just moments ago," he sighed. "The meetings have seemed to have piled up since I've been away for so long," he managed to finally pull himself away.
"It was that bad?" She asked running her hands down his strong back to try and soothe the day off him.
Hades laid down next to his wife embracing her tightly, discovery her soft touches to be comforting, "There's some trouble with the scarred souls, the demons are having difficulty calming them down enough, so they can pass on."
"Can't the witches do something," suggested Persephone.
He shrugged. "They've all tried, nothing seems to be work except memory spells."
Persephone puzzled before asking, "Memory spells?"
"It's when the witches forcefully extract the memories from the soul," said Hades.
"And that's bad?" Persephone would have thought that that's the easiest way.
"There's always a catch to witch spells," said Hades, Persephone nodded in agreement because even she was taught about the repercussions of witchcraft.
"Well, rest for now, we can figure this out tomorrow." Persephone got up from the bed, and then abruptly, she felt her gown catch on something, she twisted and she saw Hades holding the end her gown.
"Where do you think you're going?" Hades lazily perched his head on his palm and gazed at her playfully.
"I thought we could enjoy a nice bath together" -Hades eyes turned bright making a chuckle erupt from her.
"I know the perfect place," said Hades, he flashed in front of his wife and wrapped his arms around her waist, pressing his body against hers, they vanished from their chambers together and went to Hades haven.
The only place he had all to himself, no one knew of this creation of his; except Seph. He set her down in front of the lake, their bare feet memorized the gentleness of fresh fluffy meadow, the angry shower of water smashed against colossal boulders, and with mighty force, flattening the rocks and turning the water as pale as the crescent moon. The musty odour emanating from the surrounding trees masked the salinity of freshwater, but as they got closer the waterfall crashed and thundered across the vast river that glistened and glowed like an aquamarine gemstone.
