-Mount Olympus-

"I want my daughter back now!" Demeter's echoed down the vast halls of Mount Olympus.

Zeus tried to reason with his enraged wife. "She's married now Demeter, you can't just take her back," said Zeus, he felt a fleeting exhaustion at his wife's efforts sweep over him even though he was immortal. "And she seems to be enjoying her life in the Underworld, why do you want to ruin that?"

"Enjoy!" Demeter screeched. "She's too young to even know the difference between fantasy and reality. I going to kill Hades for tainting my daughter."

"Demeter relax," cautioned Zeus. "Talk to our daughter first and she what she wants," advised the king of gods.

Demeter went silent and made a plan again, she was going to destroy whatever witchcraft spell was on her daughter and bring her back. No one knew that she was the one to send spies to attack Hades and kidnap Persephone from the Underworld, but that plan ended up in the gutter when Cerberus protected Hades. "I want her to come to here," said Demeter. "I will not be going to that wretched place," her voice was filled with disgust.

Zeus sighed at what the future held for Hades and Persephone, he had to inform them and warn Hades to prepare himself of Demeter's wrath.

"Zeus," a cool voice called out after Demeter left the court.

The slight rumble of a spectre hitting the marble floor alerted Zeus of who stood beside him. "Hera," he greeted his wife. "What brings you here?"

"It's hard to concentrate when Demeter is shouting all the time," remarked Hera.

"She's upset," said Zeus.

Hera crossed her arms. "About Persephone."

Zeus's blue eyes widened. "You know?"

"All of Olympus knows," she retorted. "Our little goddess turned out to have a backbone after all."

Zeus chuckled and felt pride in his heart for his daughter. "Everything will be fine once Demeter sees that Persephone is happy," he said as he looked down the bright skies outside the balcony.

Hera joined him. "Don't be so quick, Zeus," she said. "Demeter controls the harvest on your beloved Earth. If you don't control her soon, she might end up doing more harm than she already has."

Zeus knew Hera spoke the truth. "Hades is finally a little happy," he said. "I can't take Persephone away from him now."

"I wish Hades happiness as well," said Hera. "You might want to think of something and quick."

Zeus didn't waste any time before sending Hades a letter, he paced in his court and wondered what would come for this couple.
