We came home worn out after a whole day of shopping, going to all the street across the town to get all the things we need. We don't usually shop for a whole day but we definitely love to roam around the town during our college days. Me and my 3 besties Renuka (Renu), Ramya Akhila are a team. We go roaming for fun only doing window shopping but today it's marriage shopping.

Akhila "Marriage shopping is always tiring, we used to roam around all the places in this Town like dogs during our college days but never felt this tired"

Ramya" Yeah but that time we had some
Motivation to roam around you know " She said with a smirk on her face

Renu"Really man all those awesome snacks we had and the specimens we come across. Good times " She said with a sad face

Ramya" I miss those days and before we start chatting about our never ending adventures of our college life I am gonna leave.You know I have two stomach to feed at home. "

Ramya and Akhila are happily married to the men they fell in love in college. Ramya married Karthi senior from her dept and now working as lecture in the same college and she is now at home taking care of her 3month old baby.

Akhila married our immediate senior from NCC both of them are working as IT professional in the city and will only come to our town for weekend or any occasion.

Me and Renu are working as biology teacher in different schools.

Akhila " I also have to go I have a movie date with my husband "

Renu" We all can leave and Aki drop me on the way " You are also leaving me I whinned. You know right we have more homework than our students. You too have to write your lesson plans start doing that. We will leave now.

And just like that those 3 idiots left me. I took my lesson plan notebooks and started writing the plan for the week.

While I was writing my mind drifted to the first day of my college.

First day of college
I entered my class went straight to the last bench 💪yeah proud last bencher
And there Renu was sitting quietly. Like magnets we got attracted and become close friends in few minutes.

In break time we were chitchatiing when one of the senior came into our class for announcement
Senior "Welcome to our college and to our department guys. As first years you have to enroll yourself in anyone of the extra curricular activities among sports, NSS or NCC, it's mandatory that you should be part of any one of this. Decide and give your name to respective representatives by end of day"

Renu"I am going to join NSS it's the simple and fun activity among the 3"
I think everyone was thinking like her as I see most of the girls joined it. "I am joining NCC" I said taking my notes for the next class.
Renu" Wait ❓ why are you doing this" she exclaimed. 

"Basically I like physical activity and sports tournament or competition give me anxiety attack so I am going for NCC. also you know I love Bear Grylls". I said. By the look of her face I can understand that she didn't get what I am saying but she don't have any other choice.  " Ok whatever"She said and we continued with the class.

At end of day one of the senior came and asked " Who are all joining NCC should report in NCC room after your classes. Anyone willing to join NCC asked the senior. One of the guy stood up and she was about to leave the class room when I said yes.

She was shocked with my reply and aasked"are you sure? ". I just nooded but in my mind I was like "Damn sure girl, what is your problem"

After classes I went to report for joining NCC and we were asked to stand in lines of 3 Akila me and Ramya supposed to be in the first line. We looked at each other smiled and tada we become friends. I am not a good person to get close with someone new but may be I am lucky to get friends on the first day of college without even trying. 

The enrolling and other stuffs happened for sometime and then we introduced ourselves and we were dictated about the golden rules of NCC.

Be punctual
Obey with the smile
Respect the seniors

We were not supposed to call the super senior of NCC by their name we have to call all the elders as seniors, have to wish them whenever we see them anytime and anywhere during the college hours.

Always have to stand in line of 3s, it's literally like military parade. This is what we got as glimpse on the first day.

"Ok let's see you guys tomorrow evening" said one of the senior.

Everyone started to leave but I was exhausted Renu was waiting for me I have to go take her.

Ramya and akhila offered to accompany me and we took Renu along and a after a round of introduction we went to cafeteria to have some snacks as we are exhausted by one hour of standing.

After refreshments we walked till bus station together and parted ways.

This become our regular practice after college everyday. Along with snacks we used to group our specimens. 'Specimens- we used to call guys as specimens as we used to call the different animal and plant specimens we have in biology lab so that others won't understand what we are saying, code word you know'

It was one day like that when I saw him for the first time...Breathtaking...
