Bane had managed to break free of where he was incarcerated. Only to cross paths with Bruce who was ready for him. At first it seemed Bruce was using the same trick as last time, a swarn of bats attacking the merciless monster who broke Alfred's back. But the device was different, Bruce was different.
" I call it the Bloodwing Project. It attracts the same winged mammal only this time it hurts them, pushing them to the tipping point to insanity. Almost like they're rabid in a state that won't go away until the device turns off. But until your heart stops beating it'll just keep on."
The bats were more vicious, obsessively swooping down attacking the man. Disconnecting the cables giving him the strength enhancing drug and even tearing away his mask. Bruce watched the man become so afraid, so terrified. Watching him bleed until finally he died.
Bite marks on his neck, the look of terror in the bloodshot eyes." I broke the Bane of humanity, of Gotham...What does that make me? "
