Chapter 1
"Athena Elise " the teacher called as she entered the room.
"Yes Ma'am" she asked inquisitively.
"Why did you not attend the year end party?" the teacher asked.
"My mother did not allow me. I already sent the excuse letter to the dean ma'am." she politely answered.
The teacher seems pleased but she added "You are part of the student organization , you should be active with this kind of thing. You cannot make your excuses once in a while to be out of the grip of your responsibilities. Furthermore, sooner or later you will be a teacher,"
The real thing is Athena hated attending party. She does not even tell her mother that there will be a year-end party for the college graduating class. She does not even bother to buy herself a gown for she does hate wearing one. She does not even care for her position in the student organization when it comes to a party she knew to herself why she hated so much.
