The Other Bionics

Kim

~Jack's PoV~

Brie began to use her bionics to pick off us all one by one, she had easily sent Chase flying through the wall and was now fighting Adam, he tried his best to not hurt her as well as not let her hurt him. She ran around him and from the use of her speed began to outsmart Adam and eventually he was on the ground too, not for long though.
That's when she walked up to Douglas her fists clenched, "and you!" She shouted the anger overtaking her voice.
Douglas backed himself up onto the wall "You knew that would harm her yet you let them do it! Now I have nothing left and it's all you and your stupid brothers fault! I wish I never met you and I wish that I was never bionic!"
"B-Brie." I heard faintly as I looked over to a fidgeting Kim barely able to keep her eyes open.
"Oh Kimmy! I promise I'll get you out of this okay?" Brie said as she began to choke up.
"Leave me here, be free run and see the world, don't wait for me." Kim said as her eyes began to close.
"Come on K! Stay with me!" Brie said shaking her sister.
I walked up to Brie and knelt down beside her, "she'll be okay Brie."
"This is your fault too Jack." She spat out my name like it was a disgrace.
"I'm sorry Brie I really am! I want to help Kim just as much as you do." I said the sadness lacing my voice.
"Don't act like you're loosing anything Jack, you still have all your family and friends." Brie said nastily.
"I'm loosing my best friend." I replied simply as I put my hand on her back rubbing it as a sign of comfort.
"I guess," Brie said as she sighed, "I need to take her to the hospital."
"Leave her here Mr Davenport will be able to save her quicker."
Brie scoffed, "Leave her with the guys that almost killed her, great advice."
"He can Brie and if be doesn't I'll let you beat me up and throw me out of a window." I replied as she lightly giggled.
"Fine but I'm taking you up on that deal." Brie said as Adam got up and picked up Kim.
She lay there limp in his arms as he carried her over to Mr Davenport who was now surveying her and the coding on her chip.
He managed to keep her awake as everyone went to bed, I was the only one still here along with Brie and Mr Davenport. I could feel Brie's impatient personality getting the best of her as she began to tap her fingers against her thighs.
"It'll be okay Brie." I said calmly.
"Thanks Jack." She replied not looking at anything but Kim.
