The Other Bionics

New Friends

~Brie's PoV~

We sat down for dinner in silence, we had only been here for a few nights but so far this is all we ate in. Kim and I weren't really used to this sort of quietness and it became quite awkward for us. We quickly ate our food before taking the dishes over to the sink and began washing them before putting them in the dishwasher just to get rid of the last of the dirt from the plates. Kim and I had definitely seen Douglas today and it freaked us both out but we needed to stay strong and show no fear or shock for each other. We were each other's only protection so we needed to stick together, I was pretty sure Douglas caught a sight of us but I didn't tell Kim that because she would freak out.

We finished washing the dishes and headed downstairs to our rooms, our capsules were smaller than the ones we had originally been in with Douglas but they were big enough. We sat down at the desk as we talked to each other just about school in general and Chase and Jack. The spark we felt between us and everything after that we headed off to bed and went to sleep, I had a feeling that school was about to get a lot more drama filled.

The next morning~

Kim and I were woken up by the ear deafening sound of our alarms again, it would take a while to get used to that. We got up as we stretched and yawned and made our way to go get ready for school. As we walked out Kim grabbed her skateboard again and got in it as we began to make our journey to school, the school wasn't that far a walk so I wasn't complaining. I honestly wouldn't complain if it was in the other side of the world as I could just super speed over there but Kim would have a little bother. Kim could be lazy sometimes but that was just because she normally could. We talked about various things on our way to school especially about our subjects and what classes we had today. We didn't have history today so we only had maths apart but we had Jack and Chase to keep us both okay, we normally freaked out when we weren't near each other it was like we needed to protect each other.

The classes are passed by in a short amount of time as we sat down for lunch, we had already had maths and now it was just time for health class. We sat down beside us as Jack sat down at the other side of Kim and chase sat beside me too. We began to talk to each other and I heard Jack ask Kim if he wanted to go to the skatepark. She said yes of course and I was really excited for her, she was finally finding new friends!
