Private Screening

Heading out for a little run, as I didn't feel like eating, I put on a flowing sun yellow skirt and dark purple Eagles crop top with some dark purple Nike's to match and begin to run through campus, towards the beach. I found that running by the sea put my mind at ease, but the calling of my name pulled me from my trance,
"Bea, Bea!" I turned to see Brooke trying to grab my attention, pulling out an earphone I made my way to Brooke.
"Hey" I said somewhat out of breath from my run,
"Hey, have you seen Daniel. He said he was going for a run by the beach but I haven't seen him?" She asked in a hopeful and curious tone.
"Yeah, he's just down here I'll show you where I saw him", backtracking slightly, myself and Brooke made our way to where Daniel was standing and stretching before he threw something into the water harshly, almost with anger. Brooke and I looked at each other before I dismissed myself,
"Alright well there's Daniel, I'm gonna keep running but I'll see you round", and with that I began to run again, Brooke's reply fading into the wind.

Coming back from my morning run I see a group of Ravens including my sister, slowing down to a walk I make my way over to the group hoping that Haley hadn't already had breakfast.

As I approached the group I heard, in a voice all too familiar to me,
"No problem. Anytime you need someone to take a lie detector test for you, I'm your girl."
"What!" I exclaim making my presence known to the group, earning a few looks of badly hidden disdain.
"Why are you taking a lie detector test Hales?" I question, though not completely shocked, Haley does continue to surprise me.

"Not taking. Taken. We all just took lie detector tests as Eric and his people tried to falsely accuse Jackie" Haley explained nonchalantly.
"Ahhh Haley why would you take them, you know the results are wrong" I pester her petulantly,
"According to you they are" She quips back, a small smile appearing on her face.

"You know I didn't do it Haley" I say, a full blown grin now on my face as we try to hold back our laughs. In the corner of my eye I see the group of Ravens exchanging both weary and confused glances. Remembering the reason I stopped of at the group I question Haley.
"Hey hales do you have time for a quick breakfast. I didn't get one before I went running", I see a look of worry flash on her face before she registers what I asked and a look of relief quickly follows it as she schools her expression.
"Sure" she replies happily, "let's head down the cafe, now that you mention it I am finding myself pretty peckish" Haley smiles as I turn my back to the group and begin to slowly make my way to the cafe waiting for Haley to say goodbye to those Ravens. She quickly does so and catches up to me as we head to the cafe.

Haley bursts into laughter as my face quickly turns red,
"Haley, shut up. Your so loud" I say hoping to calm, and quiet, her down as heads began to turn our way.
"I'm sorry" she states looking completely unapologetic, "but the thought of you waking up on top of Daniel is the funniest thing I've heard all week. Though I am surprised that Brooke was okay with it" Haley finishes.
"I was too, but she was laughing with everyone else so I guess she found it funny too".

"Anyway, I have had a lovely breakfast but I have to go meet Leo, he's teaching me how to play the guitar" Haley says calmly, though I do see an awe-struck look glaze over her eyes, causing my to waggle my eyebrows at her while smirking.
"It's not like that" she comments, trying to fight the blush making its way onto her neck.
"Sure, sure" I reply, "now go you wouldn't wanna keep lover boy waiting" I smile. This time Haley doesn't even deny my comment, instead she gets up, gives me hug and begins to leave the cafe, shouting a faint "bye" over her shoulder.

As Haley leaves I make my way over to the counter, deciding what I want to drink and getting myself a Mango Dragonfruit Lemonade Refresher and just as I was about to leave I decided to quickly grab the guys some drinks.
For Brooke I got a Iced Passion Tango, for Daniel a Cold Brew Coffee with milk, for Sophie a Iced Caffè Americano and finally for Parker a Cinnamon Cloud Macchiato. To make things easier on myself I grabbed one of those cute little drinks carrier thingies in one hand and placed everyone's but my owns drink inside, carrying that in my right hand I grabbed my drink in my left and headed towards the clubhouse.
