He comes in the living of life
Steadfast and true pulses of hearts beating
He sets my compass to walk the best way
The way He chose for life in the noise
If only we knew how to hear his voice
He comes in the twinkling of stars in the sky
Lambent and vast paint on dark canvas
They set my eyes to see the world's wonder
He comes in the warbling of birds
Simple and bright laughter of children's words
They tune my ears to hear the world's song
He comes in the blossoming of flowers
Fresh and sweet perfume of spring mornings
They open my nose to smell the world's dawn
He comes in the harvesting of peaches
Juicy and ripe memories of days gone by
They train my tongue to taste the world's sweetness
He comes in the whispering of breezes
Gentle and warm blankets of new comfort
They teach my skin to feel the world's hope
He comes in the living of life
Steadfast and true pulses of hearts beating
He sets my compass to walk the best way
The way He chose for life in the noise
If only we knew how to hear his voice
