Falling

I'm not afraid of flying
I'm afraid of falling down
I've fallen before and nothing hurts worse
than when you hit the ground
You feel broken all over
Nothing distracts you from the pain
Of feeling like you'll never fly again
But there's still a part that hangs on
Doesn't lose hope
In time things get better
And I meet people like you
You cushion the blow
You point out the good when it's all going wrong
I'm less scared of falling knowing you are below
