Moonrise
Sonora Roman
Chances are you've seen the sunrise
and set in it's clockwork way
But have you ever gone out to watch the moonrise?
As though not cognizant of time,
it's a much more beautiful, graceful display
Stars collect and night appears.
It's light catches colors in the sky
not often seen by the naked eye
Different hues of greens and blues
and deep purple streak Orion
Go. There's still time
to watch the jewel of the evening
ascend,
and alight her throne.
