how can you tell if someone's lying? how do you know when they truly mean what they say? the answer to those questions is that you don't. you never do. all you can do is trust them or not. the words that come out of the mouth of the person you love the most could be as sweet as honey and make you want to swoon over them and maybe even risk your life for them because that's just how happy they make you feel, but that's all the more reason to think maybe they're just sugar-coated lies. sometimes though, their words could stab you like a thousand knives only because they want to push you way, without having to tell you why and that's when we believe their words less, don't we? as desperate humans for love as we are, only the good comes out on top most of the time. it's better to be in denial than accept the words they feed us. it's better to choose which one is a lie and which is the truth according to our own desires and emotions.
and maybe that's why it's better not to say anything at all.
