To be?

to be or not to be,these words do not define me

I am not a Shakespearen quote,A Dear John note

If no man is an island i must be a continent

because i often do err and little forgive

does that make me any less divine than he who did?

Does the fact that i pray irregularly make me less than he?

He who goes to church not to pray but simply to hide the way

His gaze will stray

When asked if he will pay for the funeral costs,

for the loved ones lost because he chose to drink and drive

forced to pray only once to god he'd stay alive.

but see now that's the thing he only prayed for him.

maybe if he'd have prayed for them instead

he'd be the only one who bled...

into the unforgiving road, the cold tar

warmed only by the blood from vicious mistakes drunk bastards make...

but no.

If he'd have prayed for them instead

he mightve been the one who ended up dead.
