Snippet from the book that I think we should all remember!!

- Huhu my heart. This book gave too much heartache. Istg humagulgol ako ng iyak.

Serialsleeper is also the author of Stay Awake, Agatha. Langyaaaa sobrang galing magpaiyak huhu. Di na kinakaya ng cutie heart ko.

- Too pure for this world. Waaaa sobrang adorable ni Bray huhu. Naaalala ko sa kanya si En sa Invisible Girl. Sobrang cute lang! And I really aspire to be as thoughtful, sweet and pure as them, kaso feeling ko naman fail lang haha

- Illness. Aside from it being a tear jerking story, it also tackles serious illnesses. From depression to ALS and more. Also, not just sa side ng may sakit but also to the people around. Eye opening sya kasi naipakita rito kung gaano nagdudusa ang mga may sakit at ang pamilya nila. At hindi dapat ginagawang katatawanan ito ng ibang tao.

Especially when it comes to depression.

- Team Painkiller. Probably one of my favorite part sa kwento. Fave ko yung mga ganung klaseng friendship ehhh huhu

And finally here goes all the gold i've collected from the story!!

1. Don't walk alone. You really can't take all your problems on your own, you don't have to. Open up to someone you really trust, write it down, release it. Wag mong subukang ikubli ito ng ikubli dahil it might snap right back at you.

Open up. Just have to elaborate, hindi mga mindreaders ang family and friends mo. Try to voice out when something upsets you, share to them what bothers you. In that way, they know exactly what you are thinking and they understand you better.

2. Check up on your friends more often. They might be going through something na napagdaanan mo na. In that way, you can comfort them through your experiences and advices.

But if its on the other way, you can just be there. You need not to give advices to your friends sa pa pinagdadaanan nila kahit na hindi mo pa na experience yun. Listen to them and be by their side is enough para malaman nila na hindi sila nagiisa and they are loved.

But don't feel obliged to be there 24/! It's good to be there for the people that you love pero not the point that you prioritize their mental/emotional health over yours. After all, you can't give what you dont have diba?

3. Lastly, The stars shine the brightest when it's dark. Don't be afraid na magdaan ka sa mga pagsubok dahil normal lang yun. Please dont quit.

Palagi kong iniisip ang mga katagang, "this too shall pass". It comforts me a lot. Nothing si permanent in this world, kahit pa yung sufferings. Charge it to experience!

Im a psychology major, and it reminded once again as to why I choose my course. Honestly, it's such a good book to read.
