Unease settled on the staff following the catastrophe of Alpha's death. A cab to Wattcon hadn't seemed so out there as a plan anymore.

"Hey Lem, isn't there anyway to speed up that repair on the van..." Stalene said nervously.

Lemon glanced down to the phone in his hand, it seemed that only a moment ago they were on the road, everyone was behaving normally in their normal obnoxious behavior. And for everything to take this dark turn, he wasn't sure if he was unnerved or anxious for the next move.

"The guy on the phone made it quite clear that we weren't getting any rescue until next week. If someone wants to step up and fix the car themselves, go right ahead," Lemon sighed.

Behind him, Mira kicked at the ground. "If only I had asked my uncle to teach me," She murmured to herself, "How about we find rooms for this place, it was the original goal."

A few staff members murmured their agreement.

At this time Neon decided to take the reigns of the situation, "Alright listen, douches. You're all sleeping in a room with someone else-"

"Do we really have to listen to you? This place is huge we can honestly sleep separate," Bear retorted.

"I am your leader, you have to listen to me," Neon sneered with her pubescent voice. "So anyways, I don't care what floor you all sleep on but here's the line up. Lemon you will be with Sam-"

"Why can't I sleep with Alpha!" Lemon butted in.

"Alpha is dead, Lemon," Nova stated bluntly.

"Okay but, can I just keep the body in my room, I just want to talk to him," Lemon replied, his voice taking on a "duh" tone.

"Stop interrupting me," Neon nearly yelled, rolling her eyes. She should have been used to the other staff taking the situation from her hands. She should be used to having the tables turned on her. Yet, everything about this situation still irked her. She couldn't even get a single sentence out without someone butting in.

"Lemon, you are with Sam. We are leaving the body outside. Clovie you'll room with Rotten, Nova you'll be with Stalene, Mandy, you and Mira will have a room, Beth is with Bear, and Kal and I will be in a room," she gauged the reactions for a moment, most look satisfied with the room arrangements, others, not so much.

"If that's it, can we go explore the hotel now?" Mandy asked, her feet shifting the balance between each other.

It was getting to the point that many of the staff members were getting restless. All of the thought of murder was filling the air with unease. Mandy could see from her position that some staff members were even weighing that one of their own had done it.

Unease for their sake, was an emotion that was a liability in life and death. When people start to get antsy they get violent.

"What about room keys?" Sam asked. How were the supposed to get into the rooms? Breaking and entering was not something on the list for things to try this trip.

"I didn't see any keys in the office actually, maybe we should try one of the rooms and see if it's open?" Beth suggested.

A few of the staff rolled their eyes and waved Beth off. Some walked off motioning for their roommates to follow.

Beth sighed and walked over to the first door that had caught her eye, there were slight flecks of blood at the bottom. It seemed as though they were old. She glanced back to Alpha's body that was left on the floor. It wouldn't take long for maggots to take hold of the body. It disgusted her to even think about this, so she turned her attention back to the door.
