Patrice POV
I finish my shower and dry my hair. I braid if off to the side and go grab some clothes. I decide I want to look good for my first day of 8th grade. I choose a black peplum, Aztec leggings, and black combat boots. I grab my Vera Bradley book bag (my mom bought It for me for christmas, might as well use it.) And a banana. "Bye mom I'll text you when I'm almost home!" "Okay love you have a good first day of school!"
I walk down the sidewalk. I stop at the usual maple tree. Where is he? I glance down at my phone. 8:30. school starts in 15 minutes! Then I see him, running down the sidewalk, in a light blue t-shirt that does wonders against his skin. I start walking to meet him. he grabs my waist and spins me around. I give him a short but sweet peck but he pulls me in for more. I smile into the kiss and start to giggle "Evan your acting like we haven't seen each other in forever! we literally facetimed last night for an hour!" I said laughing "I know I just couldn't wait to see your beautiful face in person." he said and gave me the CUTEST grin ever. He slithers his hand perfectly into mine and we begin our journey towards 8th grade. Together.
