Chapter 17- How it all comes crashing down

Patrice's POV

I wake up with a smile on my face remembering last night. I look at my crown that rests on my dresser. Getting the crown was a complete and utter shock. It wasn't the best part though. Speaking of the best part, I decide I should go see that best part today. But I also feel like I should treat myself with 30 more minutes of sleep. 😂

Evans POV

I sit on my couch with a bowl of fruit loops. I text Patrice. E- Want to come over? She doesn't answer. She's probably asleep. About 5 minutes later I here a knock on the door. Hmm maybe she got my text. I open the door. "Maya?" I say with confusion. she let's herself in. "There's something we need to talk about." she said. "What could you possibly have to say to me? And anyways what would I want to talk to you after what you said to Patrice. " I say. "That little bitch told." she says under her breath. "What was that?" I said. "Nothing." That's what I thought. "Anyways," she starts "I came to tell you something that I'm very surprised you didn't figure this out by now. Hi I'm Maya Stanfield." she says. I give her a questioning look. Then I realize. i guess I never did ask we where she moved from. "You changed your hair. and your skin is a little darker." "Finally you figured it out! Wow you're so stupid! And your stupid enough to not realize why I'm dating Archie." she says. I raise an eyebrow. She rolls her eyes. "As soon as he mentioned you're name I knew it was you. I had to get in with him to get closer to you. Because i still have some feelings for you." she says stepping closer. I step back. "Yeah well I don't." I say. I hear a knock on the door but before I can turn to answer it, Maya grabs my shoulders and kisses me. Finally I here the person let them self in. I try to push Maya off. Damn is she strong. "What?!" I hear a female voice say. I instantly recognize it. "Patrice-" she's out the door before I can say anything more. I look at Maya who's smirking. She thinks it's funny. "Did that change your mind?" she says trying to be seductive. "DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MUCH IDEA I HATE YOU! YOU JUST RUINED ANY OF MY CHANCES! AND I WAS GOING TO TELL PATRICE I LOVED HER TODAY!" I say. I didn't realize what I said until I said it out loud. I loved Patrice. But there's no way anything can happen now. "You were to good for her anyways" Maya says nonchalantly. "Shut up." I state angrily. "What she's a bitch!" she says giggling. I slap her smack hard across the face. She gasps. Wow what a great person I am! I slapped a girl and Cheated on my girlfriend that I'm in love with. Maya deserved it though. Patrice didn't.
