Chapter 2- The first day of school Part 2

Evan POV

"Okay let's see we have 1st hour, 3rd hour, 6th hour, 7th hour, and Lunch together." I say comparing my schedule to Patrice's. We walk hand in hand to our first hour, math. I offer to carry her stuff but she won't let me. We walk in and I already spot Brett, Archie,Lucy, and Eddie. Archie waddles over to us. "hey guys! Are we still up for DQ after school?" he asks. "Of course Arch" Patrice says. I nod my head. Now I would much rather make out with Patrice at my house instead but Archie is my best friend. What? I'm a 13 year old man-boy! I can't help it 😏

Our teacher assigns us seats and Patrice is right in front of me so I get to stare at her whenever I want (stalker). hey she doesn't like it when I stare. Archie is on my right and great. Kendra's on my left. at least it's not Lucy . I just really don't want to have to give kendra answers all year.

Patrice POV

Evan and I walk to lunch. Archie doesn't have this period with us. we pick a table in the center if the cafeteria with 4 seats. We begin making conversations and share a kiss every once in a while. Then a kid I have never seen before approaches us, and believe me if I had I would remember him. "Excuse me can I sit here?" he asks us. "Sure!" I say. "Hi I'm Luke. I'm new here I just moved from California." he says. Well Luke you are very attractive. "I'm Evan and this is Patrice." Evan says. We begin making conversation. apparently we have the same favorite author. We just talk about his books and he and Evan talk about sports a little bit.

Evans POV

God that stupid Luke. He and Patrice have a lot in common. and he's attractive. I was a little jealous. He kept checking her out. it made me want to throw up. Her eyes are up there thank you. Then the lunch bell rings and we head to our next class. "It was nice meeting you!" Patrice says. I nod my head in agreement. even though I don't agree.

Lukes POV

My work is done. I meet Brett where he said. "So did you talk to her?" He asked me. "Yep, but that Evan, he's gonna be hard to crack." I say. "God if I had just kept her from the end of 5th grade then I would still have her. but I have no doubt we can crack brain and I can win Patrice over." Brett says. " I like the way you think. but you know if Lucy finds out she will make sure you never have children."

Evans POV

Patrice and I walk towards DQ. We talk about everything today and just laugh and kiss. We enter the DQ and see Archie sitting at a table. to our surprise he isn't alone.
