Patrice's POV
"He's better than I thought." I say to evan. "I didn't even know he was trying out!" Evan says. He looks worried. "C'mon you know you'll get the lead! Ms. Greenwood even recommended you!" I say to him. "That's true. thanks Patrice." he says. "Of course." I say. Then Maya steps on stage. Oh great. She sings let it go and is actually pretty good. But not good enough. Everyone finishes their audition songs and we move on to group readings. Evan and I get to read sandy and Danny (A/N: if you didn't see I changed the musical in the last chapter to grease) And I think we did really well but Brett also reads Danny. that makes me nervous. Calm down that doesn't necessarily mean he'll get it. I take a deep breath. "Okay thank you all for coming to auditions! remember the cast list will be posted tomorrow at the beginning at school outside the auditorium!" the drama teacher, who happens to know me very well and is one of my favorites, says. Evan and I walk out together, both shaking. "Let's hope for the best!" I say as we walk out

Still Patrice's POV
I get up and put on a baby blue high low dress. I know it doesn't seem like me so I add some converse. I put on my locket, grab my bag, and meet with Evan and we walk to school
Evans POV
We get to school and rush to the auditorium. "I can't look you do it." Patrice says. I look and turn to her. "We did it!" I say smiling. I spin her around. I look at it one more time. "Wait a minute." I look at my name. Danny. Understudy. Understudy! Who's the sandy understudy? Maya "What?" Patrice says. "I'm the understudy." "wait then who's-" she stops. "Oh no." we both say. We look at the list. Danny. Brett Sampson.
