Chapter 5- The Sleepover

Patrice's POV

I ring the doorbell at Archie's house. After about two minutes still no one comes. I push on the door and it opens. "Archie, Maya?" Evan calls out. no response. "Maybe they're in the basement?" I say. we walk down there. sure enough their sitting on a beanbag sucking face. Now I know how Archie feels. Evan clears his throat. They pull apart. Their cheeks go red. We all laugh. "Lets play truth or dare!" Archie says. We all sit on bean bags, me and Evan in one and Archie and Maya in the other. "Okay I'll start: Patrice truth or dare?" Archie asks. "Truth." I say

Evans POV

"Truth" Patrice says. "Who
was your first kiss with and when did it happen." Archie asks her. Wow what a manly question. I smirk because I know the answer . I mean I was the one it was with. Patrice's eyes widen. "Dare!" she says. "Nope too late why don't you tell everyone!" says Archie. I jump in "Guys c'mon Maya probably has no interest and I obviously know who it is" I say in Patrice's defense. "YOU DO!" Archie and Patrice say at the same time to me. "Yeah It was me." I say. Patrice looks down. "Is there something I need to know?" I ask. She sighs. "Fine. It was the summer after fifth grade. With Brett Sampson. He had the cashier at DQ put a note on my cup and we went to the movies and kissed afterwards. Happy?" She says. My eyes widen in surprise. " you and Brett?" I ask. " yes it was when Kendra Lucy and I all used to be best friends. Until Brett said he liked me and Lucy turned everyone against me in 6th grade." she says sniffling. I put an arm around her to comfort her. I'm not mad at her I just wish she would have told me. I thought our kiss was special because it was her first.

Patrice's POV

"Okay Evan truth or dare?" I ask. "Dare!" He says. "Kiss me." "What? that's not a dare?" He says . "What? How is that not a dare?" I say. "Because when you dare someone your supposed to make them do something they don't want to do!" He says. I blush but He kisses me anyway. "Okay Archie truth or dare? " Evan asks. "Truth" "How exactly did you and Maya meet?" "Well like I said it was at a film festival for Star Wars and I accidentally knocked over her popcorn with my crutch, and I helped her pick it up and we just clicked." He says and smiles at Maya. "Okay Maya truth or dare?" Archie asks. " dare!" She says excitedly. "Kiss Evan!" Archie says. "What?!" we all says besides Archie. "What! like you said your supposed to dare the person to do something they don't want to do and obviously she wouldn't want to kiss you! I mean she has me!" Archie says and strikes a pose. We all laugh. "Okay whatever it's just a stupid dare and its not like it means anything" Maya says. I glare at her. as she leans in to Evan and this kiss really quickly and pull apart. "There happy?" she asks Archie. "Nope!" I say, sitting on Evans lap "Okay I think that's enough truth or dare for now why don't we watch a movie?" Evan says. "Good idea! lets watch pitch perfect!" Archie says. I get up to get it of the shelf. "It's not here, ill go look upstairs." I say. "I'll go with her!" Maya adds. we get to the living room and look at the movies. " So you really like Archie huh?" I ask. "Oh cut the act you fake little bitch." she says. I whip around. "What did you say?" I ask. "You heard me. I said cut the act. I know you like Archie and he's mine." She says. "Ew he's like my brother! And why would I date Evan if I liked Archie?" I asked. "To cover it up! Just stay away because it just takes one thing to say to Archie and bye bye Patrice!" Maya says. "Did you find it?" Archie calls up. Maya snatches the movie. "Coming baby!" Maya calls turning to glare at me before she runs downstairs. " so what took so long?" Archie said. "Oh Patrice and I were just having girl talk!" Maya says. "Yeah." I say. Evan raises an eyebrow. I give him a "I'll tell you later " face.

Evans POV

We watch the movie and I forgot how funny it was. The only thing I don't like is that Patrice thinks the main guy is hot because he can sing. She and Maya both do. After the movie the 4 of us play Mario Cart. Then it's 12:00. we get our pajamas on and go upstairs. Maya and Archie disappear into his room, so Patrice and I go to the guest room. We crawl in bed and I then on the light and put my arms around her waist. she snakes hers around my neck and we fall asleep instantly.
