Around and around
We go
Like a Merry Go 'Round
Having ups and downs
Some days we boast about
Being right
Other days we are left behind
Yet we are forced to go forward
No matter how you look at it
The globe still turns
On its axis
The days march forward
Looking for the end of the week
Weakly steps make it to the end
To just start all over again
We can't stop it
So to ensure we enjoy it
We wait for specific moments
To come back around
Like they never went away
Like the weekend
Or the end of the ride
Because the harness wasn't secure
Through the darkest parts
When you are up in those clouds
You are going to be on cloud nine
Except if you are afraid of heights
Or can't count
From the start to the finish
May there be no plot holes
Let it come full-circle
Like the circle of life
Let the climax of the movie
Be the climax but is so good
You can just keep going
Let your character development
Be growth
Spurting
Spurring over
And towering over all your obstacles
But if you are down
Left behind
Never find yourself up in those clouds
Seems like you are never noticed When you do something right
Just know
I'm always
Going to be
Around
