"Hey Kato, Marty Mcfly called, he says he wants his clothes back. By the way, that was smooth detective work when you blew up the fourth floor of the bank the other day," heckled Diego.

He was taking a bite out a large bear claw. He wiped some jelly filling off his mouth with his bare sleeve.

Several other cops joined in on poking fun at Vince.

Vince let out a loud sarcastic laugh and slapped his knee. "You know, that is just too funny." Vince's face suddenly went serious. "You know, he must have called right before Jenny Craig came by and said you've missed your last ten years of appointments."

Diego's face turned beet red, he puffed out his chest and lunged at Vince. Several cops standing behind Diego and Vince jumped up and held them back.

"Watch it, Kato," threatened Diego, now standing an inch from Vince's face.

Vince smiled wryly, trying not to be grossed out by the donut crumbs sticking to Diego's face as he spoke. Vince slipped the donut out of Diego's hand and took a bite.

"I know you're withering away there, slim, but I'm doing this for your own good." Vince's back was now towards Diego as he headed for the door.

Diego growled and charged towards Vince. Vince looked over his shoulder with a smile and made a bee-line for the exit.
Before leaving though, he quickly stole the newspaper out of a lowerranking cadet's hands.

Of course it was all the same news: who blew up this, who killed whom, the Red Sox lost again, and the list went on. The 'funnies' section was nothing new either, just the same joke told with different characters. Being caught up in a Peanuts comic strip, Vince heard an all-too-familiar screech that made him hit the deck.

"The key to stealth is to always have a plan set for at least three steps ahead. It is important to study your surroundings and use it to your advantage. Manipulating trees, sticks, bushes, and even animals sounds (if you're good at them) can also be an effective way of deterrence. Even though a successful mission can be based upon getting in and getting out without being seen, sometimes getting caught becomes part of the game. In those cases it is best to act dumb or senile. The object then, is to buy enough time to find a way out... Or, you can always just run like the dickens. After all, not everyone can be as stealthy as Solid Snake."

"Oh, Mr. Kato is that you? Where have you been and why haven't you returned any of my calls?" said the screeching women's voice.

Vince immediately dropped the paper and hid behind a nearby bush. When the coast felt clear Vince commando rolled out of the bushes and dove for a nearby tree while picking up the newspaper on the way. He shook the twigs and leaves out of his hair and crouched down. He cupped his hand to the side of his mouth and began to make squirrel noises in an attempt to throw the woman off.
