“Valeria!” yelped Blare, eyes gleaming with excitement, a little shiver in the voice.

Valeria turned around, to see the little golden pup, her little legs scootering on the concert. She slowly came to a stop, approaching Valeria, padding on the concrete inching a little closer. She had a jubilant look in her eyes.

“Can we start training today?” she asked panting.

“Ma-“ started Valeria, only to be cut off by the little pup.

“Oh, by the way, Ivy may be joining us to. She thinks it sounds cool to be a wolf.” Said Blare.

“Oh. You know, being a wolf is cool but it takes a lot of practice. It takes a lot of work to become a true wolf at heart. You’re going to bleed, sweat, and even break bones.”

“Hard work is worth it for all the respect I may receive!” said Blare.

May, receive.” Said Valeria, emphasizing the May

“Yes, I know. But she said it sounds interesting. It’s not like she can’t stop training if she doesn’t enjoy it.” Barked Blare.

“Alright, you’ve convinced me.” Said Valeria.

“Can we start training today?” asked Blare, changing the subject slightly.

“No, we can start tomorrow, its about sunset now.” Said Valeria.

“Awww.” complained Blare.

“Sorry” Said Valeria, with a shoulder shrug.

“After we see if Ivy can train to, then we can rest tonight and start tomorrow.” Said Valeria with reason.

Moments later, a little brown figure came scootering towards Valeria and Blare. Blare perked up, looking at Ivy.

“What did she say?” asked Blare.

“Yes, but she has the same policy as Icea gave you.” Said Blare.

“Alright,” said Valeria “we can start training you two tomorrow I guess.” She said. She then arose, starting to walk away back to the end of the alley.

Blare and Ivy followed.

“Are you excited to be a wolf?” asked Blare, turning to Ivy.

“Yes, of corse!” yipped Ivy.

“So, what are you most excited about?” asked Blare.

“Dunno” Said Ivy, turning her attention back to her front paws.

“Well, I cant wait!” said Blare as they reached where Icea and Kumiko were.

“Nor can I!” said Ivy as they parted to their guardians.

“Well, see you tomorrow for training!” said Blare.

“See you tomorrow!” replied Ivy.

As Blare and Icea walked to their nesting spot all Blare could think was I’m really going to be a wolf. I can’t believe it!
