Chapter 42

Bulma POV

Vegeta gripped onto my wrist.

"Let's go woman."

"Our friends are going to think something you know..." I said.

"Tch..." He groaned as he quickly pulled me into his arms and began to fly.

"VEGETA!!!" I yelled, wrapping my legs around his torso and my arms around his neck as tight as I can. He wrapped his arms around me securely but we were still in mid air and this girl doesn't do well with flying considering I don't! I looked down at the city as he continued flying at what felt like full speed.

"VEGETA!!!" I yelled once again.

"Woman shush, you're not going to die." He snapped.

"Stop calling me that!" He chuckled.

"Where are we going?" I asked after a moment of silence.

"Home but I wanted to pick up something to eat because I'm hungry."

"We just ate you Saiyan." I joked. He smirked and we landed near an ice cream shop.

"Ice cream?"

"Yes woman, you ate all the ice cream back home."

"Well I bought it..." He rolled his eyes and we walked into the small ice cream shop. Vegeta ordered a giant tub of chocolate ice cream as well as two chocolate ice cream cones. He handed me one and we sat down on the bench right outside the ice cream shop. I watched as Vegeta enjoyed his Ice cream cone. I let out a giggle which made him look at me.

"What?" He questioned me, I giggled once more.

"It's just funny watching you eat ice cream."

"Earthlings really are something else..."

"Shut it." Vegeta smirked and looked at the night sky.

" I can't wait to fight whatever's up there."

"I honestly feel like it's a terrible idea going alone..." He looked at me.

"I honestly think it's a terrible idea if you come along."

"Vegeta think about it...what if you're in serious danger and you can't get the spaceship to work, you'll need me." He sighed.

"Bulma, I really don't want to talk about this."

"Why not? You know it's true."

"You'll just be a distraction."

"How?"

"I don't want to worry about anyone else while in battles...It'll distract me greatly."

"You're going to need my help Vegeta, I am not going to continue fixing the spaceship if you decide on going alone." He groaned
