what jaemin did not expect was for the boy that had invaded his mind to be standing at the front of his biology class as soon as he had slumped into the uncomfortable wooden chair he had claimed
it didn't take donghyuck long to figure out why jaemin looked so dumbstruck to see the boy and snickered at the sight of his friend looking so shocked, open mouth and all
but the way he held himself threw jaemin off, he stood confidently at the front of the awestruck classroom. sporting a wolfish grin and a cocky demeanour as he winked at a group of girls causing them to break out in excited squeals much to jaemin's disgust
the teacher uninterestedly pointed to a vacant seat in front of jaemin, motioning for jeno to sit so the class could commence
"get to know jaemin, you two share the exact same schedule," the teacher said before turning to write on the whiteboard
as jeno lazily dropped his bag next to his seat he met jaemins gaze and winked, causing the younger to break out in a flaming blush
jeno twisted around in his seat so he had a view of jaemin "fancy meeting you here jaemin" he grinned, well aware of the boy's bright red face
"u-uh, yeah" jaemin stuttered. mentally facepalming, he never stuttered so why was he doing it now? he opted to stare at jeno's smooth cheek rather than his eyes
a hand slammed down on jaemins desk, startling the two boys. donghyuck stood smirking "i'm donghyuck, gaymins best friend. you must be the guy he was gushing about last night"
jaemin gasped and pinched donghyucks arm "you fucking rat" he seethed as he twisted his friend's skin between his fingers. donghyucks body contorted as he shrieked loudly earning them a glare from the teacher
jaemin released donghyucks arm and sent the wincing boy death glares, all while jeno watched in amusement
"lee jeno" he said, holding his hand out for donghyuck to shake, which the latter made sure to make a show of. gripping onto his hand and shaking it slowly, sneering at jaemin. donghyuck replied with a smile
"i like you, you're sitting with us from now on" he declared before pivoting on his heel and marching back to his desk
jeno chuckled "he always like that?" he asked jaemin
"yeah, unfortunately," jaemin grumbled. he sighed and turned his attention to the lesson. he felt a presence near his ear, a hot breath ghosting over his ear
"i look forward to getting to know you better nana" jeno whispered the pet name gliding off his tongue effortlessly. the husky voice sending shivers down jaemin's spine and blood rushing to his cheeks
