Target: Nicholas J. Fury. Director of SHIELD - HYDRA's #1 enemy.

My partner, who I call Ghost, nods at me, confirming he is ready for attack. I nod back, telling him the same. Ghost gets into position in the middle of the New York street - rifle in-hand. He shoots an explosive disk, as it attaches itself to the bottom of Fury's SUV, making it flip, while Ghost smoothly dodges.

He nods to me, as we strut down the road after the wreckage - Ghost with his rifle and me with my batons that turn into a bo staff. HYDRA explained to me that these were my weapon of choice before they saved me. With my insane level of strength, I rip the door off of the wrecked SUV, only to find a hole where Fury escaped through.

We follow the target to an apartment in Brooklyn. I give Ghost the signal and he opens fire, shooting through the wall and hitting Fury. We run on the rooftops, attempting to escape, as Captain Rogers follows us - apparently he was in said apartment during the shooting.

After running on top of an office building, we jump down to a lower building - flipping mid-air. Rogers breaks through the wall of the office building and lands on the same rooftop as us. He throws his shield at ghost, but before it can hit him, I catch it effortlessly.

I gaze at the shield - a sense of familiarity to it. Images start flashing through my head - well, more like glimpses. I remember a brown haired woman shooting at the shield - although there was no paintjob on it at the time.

Scrunching my eyebrows in confusion, I look up at Captain Rogers, and something similar happens. I remember a scrawny kid from Brooklyn getting beat up in an alleyway with a shield. Seeing my hesitation, Ghost grabs the shield from me and throws it back at him, pushing him back slightly as we jump off the roof. We escape, with a familiar - yet unfamiliar name left in my head. Steve.

A/N: What do you think so far? I know it's short but the scenes when Stephanie is a Winter Soldier won't be too long. Mainly because she doesn't have many lines. Also, what do you think of Stephanie remembering Peggy - her old best-friend - and Steve - her brother? Comment what you think.
