"Where are we going?" "You'll see." Elsa said, guiding him. "Open your eyes." Jack opened his eyes and saw they were in the middle of a field. "Why are we here?" Jack asked. "Watch." Elsa pointed to the sky which was slowly turning into a deep midnight purple. She spread a blanket out on the ground. Jack sat down, and watched as the sky slowly lit up, little by little as each star started to twinkle. Elsa sat beside him as his jaw dropped in awe. "Why have I never noticed this before?" Elsa laughed lightly. "The city is constantly alive with lights. Out here, it's dark so you can see the stars better." She sighed and fell back onto the blanket. Jack glanced over at Elsa. "You really are beautiful." Elsa blushed. "No, I'm not." "Why don't you think so?" "Because... no one has ever called me beautiful before." Jack reached over and squeezed her hand gently. "Well I think you're very beautiful." Elsa blushed a deep shade of red. "Is that a blush I see?" "No!" Elsa was blushing furiously and was attempting to cover her face with her hands. "Aw, don't cover your pretty face." Elsa sighed in defeat before murmuring something into her hands. "What's that?" Jack asked. "I'm just like every other girl in this school." "Why?" "I-I fell for you." "YES! I knew you wouldn't be able to resist my charms." "Oh don't be so full of yourself Frost." Jack clutched his heart. "You've wounded me Elsa. You know how fragile my feelings are." Elsa rolled her eyes. "Kiss me and make it feel better?" Elsa frowned but gave him and light kiss on the cheek. "Better?" She asked pulling away, her face red. "I don't think so..." Jack said. Elsa kissed him on the forehead. "Now are you okay?" "I think you should give me one on the lips..." Jack said softly. Elsa leaned over, meaning only to kiss him quickly but Jack was ready. He wrapped his arms around her and held her in place. She was a bit shocked at first but slowly relaxed. They both pulled away, breathless. Jack leaned his forehead against hers. "What do you say? Will you be my girlfriend?" "Mmmm... We haven't really discussed anything about that so no..." Elsa said. "Ouch Elsa, you've wounded me again." Elsa giggled. "Well, maybe I'll think about it, okay?" Jack smiled. "So... Does this mean I get another kiss?" "Maybe..." "Elsaaaaa." "Fine!"
So Jack didn't end up going to prom with the prettiest girl, or even legitimately going to prom, but either way, it turned out to be a prom night to remember.
The End of this path!
