Reincarnated as A Boy?!

I hesitently made my way up the stairs of the platform. Once I was there the beauty of the place struck me. It was pure white not a speck of dust to be seen with many jewelry and shiny metals that had bright colors. In the middle was a circle table made out of what I'm guessing was marble with the prettiest table cloth I have ever seen. There also were 8 chairs around the table with only 1 of them being occupied by an old man who was sitting in front of the crystal (magical) ball. He stroked his white beard and made a gesture at the guards. Once they had left he called out to me to take a seat. I did as told. He chuckled slightly "Rin Taru right? Nice to meet you child... Now reach out to the crystal and imagine your mana pouring out of your fingers." Again I did as told, wishing with everything I had that that concealing my status would actually go undetected...

The crystal ball had a light shade of black in it which looked like a gass puddle trying to break the glass to escape and pour out.

A bubble like chat message appeared in front of me. The old man's eyes widened as he looked at me with what I'm guessing was suprise. He got up abruptly and headed towards the doors. He left without a word. And I was left all alone in that huge room.

Soon after he had left 2 guards came to accompany me back to my parents. They both had this wierd and aura of nervousness and tension around them. Almost... I'm probably overthinking it. We walked down a few halls and reached a huge double door ever so slightly open.the guards pushed opened the doors I took the gesture and entered the room. It gave meaning to the huge doors. The room was humongous with the colors of gold, white and red everywhere. It looked like a throne room and it was one. At the very end of the room was the king sitting on his throne. I followed the red carpet with the gold engravings and stopped when I was in front of the king. In the room there was atleast 40 guards with us. I took a bow on my left knee with my right hand pressed against the floor with my head looking downwards as a sign of respect. The king got up. Slowly approaching me. He held out his hand
"Stand up my boy." Eh? What??? This was not what I was expecting... umm since I couldn't find a reply to that I just stood up and looked at him. He looked back and... laughed?!

"No need to be so tense now! I called you here for good news after all!"

"Ummm...wha-"

"After all you are going to be my new disciple! Don't worry about your parents they already accepted the terms!"

... WHAT!? Why??? How!!! My parents betrayed me !!! I mean I guess it is better than the academy but still!!!!
Wait. What disciple and The king said something about 'terms'. What exactly did my parents get me into (T^T)

"What terms are we talking about?!"

"HoHo! My boy I knew you were interesting!! Well the terms that your parents agreed to are that you'll live with me at this castle for 7 years while I teach you! You'll be treated like my son! And since you'll be trained by me personally you'll atleast have to be SS Ranked adventurer!"

"What exactly will you teach me?"

I asked with curiosity instead of suprise and confusion this time.
And since I couldn't exactly go against the king. He was the strongest after all. My father had thought me about the wars between the demi-humans, demons and humans. And he was the one who killed the 《Demon King》 and the 《Queen of all Beastman》
Well after that was the battle between elves and dwarves who are now allied and are in peace with all other races while us humans still couldn't find common ground with demons and demi-humans.

"Well I'll be teaching you swordsmanship and magic lessons while you'll learn normal lessons like mathematics and language from a royal tutor."

He had sat down on his throne while I was thinking.

"... will I get to say bye to my parents atleast?"

The king snapped his fingers and the guards brought in my parents who practically ran to me and gave me a bear hug.

"Oh my dear son!!" My mother exclaimed while running her fingers through my hair ruffling it in the process.
"You have no idea how much we'll miss you!"

My father who was hugging us both was almost sobbing at that point mumbling about how fast I had grown and when he'll get to see me I'll already be a man.
I was already crying but unlike my mother who's eyes were like waterfalls I was just sobbing and sniffing.

After a while the king cleared his throat and my parents got the signal to leave I was really sad but I understood. My parents, like me couldn't go against the king. If they did it would have serious consequences. Well with that the king had one of the butlers whose name was umm.. james (or something hehe I forgot) bring me to my room.

And since I was caught of guard by this whole thing I forgot to ask the king why he had decided such things... Well guess I'll have to ask next time.

A/N: sorry for the short chapter. I have been reaaal busy these days... welp that's it see you on the next one.
Also he did conceal his status... just not his strength and power... hehe I'm evil
