"My boy... Come here" the king said in his booming voice that echoed through the whole room. I slowly went towards him dark was staying close to me as well even though he didn't want to be near the king. But I was kinda curious about what he had to say so as I just hesitantly made my way towards him. Once I was close enough he motioned for me to stop.
Ugh kings and their authority am I right?
"Taru..." as he began talking with a dissatisfied face. I was just super nervous about what he had to say.
"You are the..." WHAT OLD MAN JUST SAY IT ALREADY!!!
"YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS PASSED THE EXAM!" He excitedly got up from his throne with his hands in the air. My jaw was probably on the floor in disbelief. I mean what???HOW!?
" I disobeyed you and how did I pass???? . . . I said that out loud didn't I?"
"Yes you indeed did my son." He slightly giggled. The king giggled... at my stupidness... I was still too shocked to even notice that.
I had to ask him.
"Umm. Your majesty?"
"What is it child?"
"Who are the other candidates?"
He let out a single long sigh. "You'll meet them at your 6th birthday... untill then you don't have to worry."
That's totally not suspicious at all right? (A/N:Totally heheheh)
"Alright?"
"You can leave now." He seemed slightly troubled.
"I'll be taking my leave now. Your majesty." I gave a slight bow.
"Wait! ... stop calling me 'your majesty' son..." eh? What?? "Call me father will you?"
Ummm "alright... father?" That's quite the weird request I suppose?
