"W-where is dark..?"
Fredrick was about to answer my question when a guard burst into the room. That was weird since they were supposed to be in groups of two at least. The guard charged at Fredrick. Fredrick didn't even blink. He quickly moved out of the guards way faster than the guard expected, the guard wasn't fast enough and he couldn't move back in time leaving an opening. Fredrick karate chopped the guard in the neck making his body go limb. The guard was no longer a threat and we were safe. I was really confused to what was going on. Fredrick dusted the invisible dust off of his shoulders;

"It is no longer safe inside the castle for you Sir Taru... You're being taken to where your family is. And if they're not there... Well you'll be forced to take care of yourself I'm afraid."

I don't understand... Why do I have to go back? Did I do something wrong? He still hasn't answered my question about Dark. Why did that guard attack us..?
My mind was getting filled with thoughts. Fredrick snapped me out of it when he grabbed my arm and started to drag me outside the room into the halls.

"No child should have to go through this... Forgive us Sir Taru."

We were at the entrance of the enormous castle. There was a horse there and... DARK!!! Dark quickly got up and licked my face and arms it was quite obvious that he scared the horse.

"Take this horse Sir Taru. Take this too."
Fredrick handed me a bag of what I assume to be supplies.

"Your trainer, Apollo wanted me to tell you to work on your experience and well, body. 'looking the lart of a strong warrior is important' he said. Be safe. Taru"
With that he hit the horse on it's backside and it took off running. Dark was of course following me, he was as fast almost faster than the horse. I had a big heavy brown bag hanging over my shoulder with a crazy fast horse that I was trying to keep it under control and with my wolf running behind me going further and further from the castle... This is surely not how I thought my day would go.
I was just confused, lost, almost sad... Mostly confused though.
What could've happened?
I wanted answers and I surely wasn't going to stop until I get them.
A branch hit my face, snapping me out of my thoughts. Making me realize the situation, I was on a horse going full speed with a wolf behind us. I think Dark was freaking the horse out a bit.
WHAM! Another branch to the face almost knocking my tiny body off of the huge horse. I could barely hold on anymore. My hands were tired.

The world just seems to be against me.
I was about to cry a little when...
WHAM!
Another branch to my face. Making me lose my balance and my grip. My body hit the floor with a loud thud.
The horse was long gone now. I tried to look at how far it got but all I saw was little black dots clouding my vision as I could feel my body go limb. I could feel my soul being ripped from my body.
I couldn't have died. No way... Not again! NO!! I'M NOT LETTING IT HAPPEN AGAIN!!
I tried to wake up. I tried and tried and tried...
Everything was black once again...

I felt heavy. My eyelids were almost impossible to open.
Beep beep beep beep beep...
What's that noise? Where am I? It smells like... Chemicals? It smelld exactly like a hospital. Where am I? Last thing I remember I was on a horse then I fell. DARK! WHERE'S HE!?
I opened my eyes in a panic. Only to close then again. The light was really really bright. Where am I..? Am I... Back home?

A/N: Annnnnd cliffhanger UwU I feel like u guys r slowly hating me because of all the short chapters and cliff hangers. Welp life is hard and highschool sucks;-; I'll try my best for y'all!! I'm trying to work out a schedule sooo expect more soon~!
