I had my camera, well dad's old camera, and a fresh memory card for it. It really wasn't that hard to find it, I was worried that it was lost forever in some box somewhere, but Mom was attached to the thing, so she had stored it in a more accessible place so that we could actually find it when she wanted it. It was just something to do when I was waiting for mom at the club so I didn't feel like such a dead weight, but it could be interesting. Plus I could get something out of it too. I was still sloppy and missing some things when it came to drawing people, but staring at live specimens was awkward, so a still picture would be better and I was free to take a picture of anything. So I could get a lot of reference material by carrying this around. I would try and go unnoticed if I could, at least by some of the noisier of the bunch, I didn't want them to keep posing or wasting my time so that they could have the perfect picture and figure out which side was their good side. When I was at school I had the camera tucked away where it couldn't be broken and couldn't really be seen, by now I noticed most of the campus didn't care about my lack of uniform anymore. It was old news. Really I'm glad I didn't have to wear the uniform, the girl's uniform just didn't appeal to me.
"Good morning." I was in my own head still when Haruhi greeted me, I looked up and nodded at him, he was still the easiest for me to relate to in the group, probably because he wasn't rich and thus was more grounded than some of the others could be.
"Hey." I took my seat and glanced to the window, I wish I was sitting closer, but then again it was probably best if I didn't I tended to daydream if I was left on my own for too long, or if I just got bored with whatever was going on. "Where are those two?" I glanced at the empty pair of desks beside me, it wasn't like I missed them or anything of the sort, I just wanted to prepare myself if they were here and possibly setting something up.
"Oh they went to the club room for something. I would be careful when going in there." From what I knew they had a reputation as pranksters, Tamaki made sure to warn me about that time and time again. I nodded again, well at least I got a heads up. Eventually the two did show up and classes crept along, rather than joining anyone for lunch, I decided to keep to myself. I had noticed I was starting to get some strange attention from some of the girls that went to the club. Most of them were pretty nice I guess, even if they were slow, but there were also the jealous types that exist in every fan base that think they actually have a chance with someone they admire from a group made to entertain people. From what I asked Haruhi about, he had some problems of his own when he first entered the club, a girl had started to bully him because of all the attention Tamaki had started to give him when he was becoming a host, but they ended up banning her from the club after humiliating her a bit. So it seemed like they tried to keep girls that got obsessive like that out of the club. Though there was quite a strange sight, or more so sound, when it came time to go to the club.
"You two can't do that!" Tamaki was freaking out, apparently the twins had taken a vow of silence for some reason or another, it was bound to be temporary, but if they were doing that then it would be hard to host. They used mushy words and their sibling bond to keep the girls interested and giddy, that would be hard to do if they were silent. They seemed pretty stubborn about it. Just for my own collection I decided to take a picture while no one was paying attention to me, after all how often was it that these two would willingly be silent like this? If this is the only time it'll happen then I wanted a picture of it.
"We can still run the club, we'll just tell the girls that they lost their voice. They should understand."Kyouya didn't seem fond of the idea of closing the club and I wasn't either, I was supposed to be taking pictures of everyone so that I could finally have some kind of job to do. Then again this 'job' probably wouldn't last long just due to the simplicity of it. After this it'll probably be just more of a special event thing rather than anything else.
"Why don't you two want to talk to us anymore?" Hani seemed sad and I watched him for a moment, poor bunny boy, but the twins had already wrote down one thing, it looked like they were done explaining themselves now. Well this was going to be an interesting day, I was going to keep an eye on them, I doubted that they could keep it up for very long.
"Have they ever done this before?" I went over to Kyouya a moment after they explained to the girls entering that the twins weren't going to be able to speak much today. He seemed pretty aggravated, his typing was a bit louder, he must be taking out his aggravation on the poor little keys.
"No," Short and to the point, well that seemed to be his personality type, but that didn't really make way for any explanation, at least I knew I got a good picture of a rare event. Though one more wouldn't hurt, but this one was of Kyouya, of course looking at the picture he had his eyes narrowed up at me instead.
"This isn't for your little books, I just wanted it as a reference photo, and a reminder." He didn't seem interested in my explanation, but it would work well enough to remind me not to get him mad, this guy was dangerous and threatening enough, but he had to have a temper on him too? That was just kind of unfair for the innocent civilians. Eventually I decided to leave him alone and was keeping kind of a distance from everyone, the camera had a great zoom feature, so I could stand pretty far away, I managed to get a few pictures of everyone and most of them came out decently. Already a lot better than those blurry things that he had been selling. I made sure to get enough to fill a few pages for each person. Though the twins were pretty boring, they weren't talking, they seemed completely serious, and really I would just have to wait another day before I took any pictures of them. I made sure to explain that to the angry shadow master when I showed him the camera so he could scroll through what I had managed to get so far. When club time was nearly finished, I told mom I would walk home after the club, I was a bit fed up with this silent treatment they were giving everyone. It almost felt like they were mocking me, or the me from two weeks ago. I did eventually manage to find a good time after the girls left to catch their attention. "What the hell are you two trying to do?"
