IT WAS MIDNIGHT or so and Finnick and Angel were laying in bed, neither of them could go to sleep, not after hearing the announcement. They both knew that they were going back into the games together, Finnick had to go since he was the only male victor of district four, Angel could not go in but she has already decided that she will go back. "You don't have to go back in." Finnick said breaking the silence that filled the room.

"But I do Finnick, Annie isn't stable enough to go back into that arena, and Mags is too old. That leaves me." She spoke softly to Finnick knowing he could hear her. "But you shouldn't have too! None of us should have to go back there, it's not fair. We've already paid our dues, yet here we are waiting to be reaped again." Finnick ranted chuckling a little at the end, Angel felt so bad she didn't want this to happen, but she has a feeling that she knows why Snow chose this twist for the third Quarter Quell. She saw the last games, the star cross lovers of district twelve. The spark that Katniss had started again, giving the rebels hope again, hope that they can overthrow the Capitol once and for all.

Deep down Angel was hoping a rebellion was finally coming, she hoped that this time they will beat Snow and the Capitol.

Snow knew that a rebellion was stirring, so he chose to put what had started and given hope to the rebellion back in the arena, with experienced killers, cause this time Katniss and Peeta are the newbies. Every victor knew one another or have met one another at some point. "Life isn't fair." Was Angels response, they fell back into a comfortable silence just staring into the dark.

Finally, Angel just broke down, tears welling in her eyes until they started pouring out running down her cheeks as a short sniffle left her mouth soon turning into sobs. The noise made Finnick look towards her and pull her into his chest as she cried, the sobs broke his heart the girl he loves is crying, all because of the stupid games. "I'm so scared Finn." Angel cried hugging the male tightly as her tears dampened his bare chest. He stroked her hair calmly and started to hum a song she had sung to him multiple times whenever he had a nightmare or something.

He knew she was scared, hell he's scared himself, he doesn't want this to happen not at all, but there's nothing he can do. Finnick let Angel cry until she ran out of tears, her breathing slowing down to a steady beat. She had fallen asleep, Finnick looked into the darkness in the room his own sleep starting to take over as well.

It came the next day, but when Finnick woke up he started to panic not seeing Angel in the room. He scrambled down to the kitchen only to find her cooking and smiling, she had opened a window letting these birds fly into the house so she put some bird feed down in front of the window. Finnick smiled at the sight, he loved to see her smile, it meant she was happy and this was a genuine smile, not the fake ones they have to put on when in front of the cameras. "Morning mon amour." She cheerfully said looking at Finnick where he stood. "Good morning mon petit ange." He smiled back walking over to her and give her a kiss on the cheek and a hug. "Breakfast will be done soon, after we eat we'll have to get ready for the reaping." Angel explained to Finnick as he stood just watching her do her thing.

As they were eatting they heard little footsteps running down the stairs to show a little brown hair blue eyed boy, sleep still in his eyes. He rubbed his eyes before walking over and giving Angel a hug, the same he did to Finnick. "Good morning sis. Fish boy." He smiled at them and they both smiled back at him, "Morning sweetie, why don't you go back up stairs and get ready." With that he walked back up the stairs, Angel watched him as he left still staring at the bottom of the stairs where he once was. "What are you gonna do about him?" Finnick asked making Angel snap her heard towards him, "I'm gonna ask Annie to watch him, it will give her something to do and keep her distracted. He might be able to help her, and besides they both love each other to bits." Angel said as they continued to eat their food in silence.

Elijah came back down all dressed and Angel gave him his breakfast, she waited until he was down before telling him a few things. "Little bean I need you to listen to me, I'm gonna be leaving for some time and I don't know when or if I'll be coming back. You're gonna stay with Annie while I'm gone okay, make sure to never leave her side." Tears started to well up in the little boys eyes and he cried hugging Angel tightly, "I don't want you to g-go!" She closed her eyes as she held him tight, "Don't cry, I'll try to come back for you okay, along with Finnick." Angel started to sing softly to him as he cried, petting his head as well. Elijah finally stopped cry crying and let Angel go up to get changed.

Angel put on a blue dress that was long and had somewhat of a train, the dress was backless almost all the way down to the end of her tailbone but had three straps in the back just above the middle of her back. She chose not to wear any shoes with the dress but still brought a pair of comfortable shoes with, she put on a rope like bracelet that had a few charms on them, Finnick gave it to her to be another token before her games started, even though she was only supposed to have one she was able to sneak it in anyway.

Walking down she saw Finnick already down stairs waiting for her, she heard knocking at the front door, most probably the peacekeepers. "Wow mon ange, you look absolutely gorgeous." He said making Angel blush and look down in embarrassment, taking in a deep breath she looked back up at Finnick giving him a smirk. "Let's not keep them waiting." With that she walked to the front door and opened it, showing two peacekeepers waiting there, they were escorted to the justice hall and had to stand on stage, but on different sides.

Their district escort Pearl came on stage, her skin done to look white practically, her wig was a light shade of blue and her dress was short in the front and long in the back with a bunch of flowers decorated on the dress, along with some rhinestones. "Welcome, we now celebrate the 75th anniversary and third Quarter Quell of the hunger games. Let's start with the males first." Pearl said walking over to the bowl that held only one slip of paper in it, walking over with the click of her heels she swiftly picked out the piece of paper. Opening it ever so slowly made Angel more nervous than she already was.

"The male tribute for the 75th hunger games is, Finnick Odair." Finnick walked to the front of the stage a smile planted onto his face. "Now the ladies." And again Pearl walked over to the bowl that held three slips of paper, picking one up she again opened it slowly. "And the female tribute is, Angel Havoc." It was silent, no one made a sound. Even though Angel was planning to go in the games her heart sank when she heard her name, and so did Finnick's, hearing her name being called again made her think about the first time she had been reaped.

Keeping a straight face she walked to the front alongside Finnick, they turned to shake hands with each other but instead they hugged, both of their grip somewhat hard as they were afraid to let one another go. Pulling away from one another they were grabbed by the forearm by peacekeepers dragging them off stage and to the train, Angel started to fight against the peacekeeper she wanted to say good bye to her little brother, but they didn't let go, so she shouted quickly for Annie to hear. "Take care of Elijah for me please!" Seeing Annie nod at her before she couldn't see them anymore. Another thing she hates is to be man handled. Her and Finnick were roughly pushed into the train seeing Mags already there sitting in a chair. Angel walked up to give Mags a kiss on the cheek. Mags smiled at the girl and signed to her saying that she is a brave woman, Angel smiled thanking her in sign language. Both her and Finnick took a seat in front of Mags as the train started to move. "So are we gonna have allies?" Finnick asked the two woman in the room. "I can't say I want allies, but given what we're going into this time, allies probably won't be a bad thing." Angel said making Mags nod in her direction. "Okay, so who?"

"Not any of the careers, Johanna yeah probably." Angel wanted to add the two from twelve, she could feel that a rebellion is coming, and that Katniss was gonna be the face of the rebellion. "What about twelve, Katniss and Peeta." Finnick suggested like he had just read the girls mind. "Yeah, let's watch the other reapings, so we know who else we'll be facing." Nodding they both got up and went to a room, turning the projector on and sat on the bed watching the reapings together.
