One two three,
The clocks ticking
The time's passing
Wondering, how?.....
All this happened
"In a blink of an eye
Time passes by"
Says every other someone
But not many follow up
Nor any are aware.
Of how fast time passes,
When it's most wanted.
Once upon a time
I was a small girl
Innocent and pure
Blissfully ignorant
Yet dumb and deceived
Now look at me
In my teen life
More experienced
Much smarter
So understanding
Three, four, five
I've heard and felt
Tragedies of my people
I've read and felt
Emotions too soon
I lost many dreams,
Lost the trust in many.
At one point in life
Had turned bitter
Had gone astray
Through it all I passed
With scars
That only count
As experiences of a past
In the neverending
Wheel of time...
You never know when time outruns you. Don't let your past keep you from your future. Don't forget your experiences. They'll help more than you think.
