Rapid knocking up my office door makes me glare at the door grumbling profanities "Come fucking in Max." I wish I could stand on the highest cliff and throw him off but the man might survive. The door open as both him and his mate happily hand in hand comes through and not only them but that same fruity scent that keeps me up and annoyed hit me full force I blink rapidly as if a sudden hard wind blow my way as my nose twitch as more invades my nostrils. "Fucking Scent Killing Me!" I mumble to myself.

"Are you ok Alpha?" Tyler ask coming closer and I jump up quickly holding a hand out for him to stop because the small step he took farward proves he's the one who the scent it strong on. He look at me weirdly and concern but nod respecting my space and step back still watching me closely all joke and bubbliness aside as seriousness replace his facial expression. Despite his obsession he does has traits that remind me he's not as stuck up.

"Yes I am fine. Can you just leave Tyler now." He step back into Max arms with a sad face as he continue to look at me. "You did not do anything wrong ok." I assure him and he nod with a tight smile, kiss Max and leave.

"I knew it" was the first thing Max said as his mate disappears while looking at me. I play the fool pretending to have no idea what he's on about. "Don't give me that look asshole, I'm your bestfriend before this placement shit so don't" he glare and I sigh knowing he's right and that I shouldn't be lying to him but not like I did though, I just simply not answered. "I met his teacher tonight who drop him off." He wiggle his eyebrows but I frown wondering what that got to do with me. "He's the one who has the fruity scent Greece" he roll his eyes while I just sit back down to finish my work.

"They disappear again." I divert the conversation elsewhere and I hear sigh him as if he's given up on me but he never does though.

"Where were they last?" He ask coming around my desk so we can both eye the map lay out on my desk. "Here" I point showing him. "That's our old location before we moved Greece." His eyes widen and I nod understanding his small panick.

"Yes it was but now only Alpha Savage pack who lives there." I glance away looking out the window into the forest as I think. Did they really went back to finish us off but now that they didn't find our pack they left and disappeared. "They are looking for us Max and how long until they do goes unknown." I sigh running my hand down my face.

"We are not sure if they have left there as yet so let's call Alpha Savage and tell him to be on the look out for those termites." He said firmly and I nod thinking it's what we got now so let's work with it.

I dial the number twice before it answer "Hello Alpha Greece of Rage pack east" I greet.

"Hello Alpha Prince of Savage pack south, state your reason for calling." He said and I pick up that it's the previous Alpha son whose just a kid but Alpha nonetheless so I'll keep my tongue tied instead of being rude.

"I'm aware you are the son of the previous Alpha but I'll like to request that he's present when I state my reason for call." I said firmly and he hum then said 'very well'. Couple shouts later and a door could be heard slam against something.

"You cock blocking child, what!?" He ask his son annoyed, his son could be heard cursing about his father revealing such information. "Oh hey Greece, what do I owe this call and from you of all people" he chuckle while I roll my eyes, the guy is like Tyler in old age in some way minus the obsession part. He's also funny, bickers with his son like enemies but loves him deeply, he's annoying but serious went needs be and so on.

"Just want to inform you to be on the look out for the termites since I've been aware of them around our previous location area. Let us know if you see or hear of anything odd and notify your pack members to be on the look out as well." I advice but the son growl.

"Don't tell me what to do with my pack." I roll my eyes closing to ignore him instead of making enemy with my godfather's son and pack.

"Anyways that's my reason until next time I hope not, goodbye." I hear him chuckle while the son growls again but I hung up.

"Could have handled it better." Max state laughing while I just shrug. "Now back to what we were talking about." I groan letting my head fall back "You need to go after him. Can't you see the damage your stubbornness is causing and will cause. The pack is unbalance and we feel only half full without our Luna Greece and when this full moon comes and go, females won't be able to produce anymore with completion. This has gone on too long, you push away your dad with this and your brother refuses to see you until you mate but you still won't even try. Now the Goddess go as far as bring your mate as close to you and you won't even put in the effort to step closer to your other half, damn man let go of the past so you can have a future of happiness and peace." At the end Max takes a deep breath and his words did hit home, when I look into his eyes I see diappointment but hope that I'll change my mind and move on.

"I'll have the health sector try to create a potion for those females without bodily harm so they can reproduce after the full moon." I said dismissing his lecture.

"You are unbelievable!" He exclaim angrily "You are ungrateful and undeserving Greece." He voice lace with rage and defeat "That's it, I give up and I grantee you that the Goddess is going to punish you." With that he walk out
slamming my door.

Why can't they understand how mate doesn't make you strong but weak. I can't be weak right now especially with these hunters making themselves known again.

Maybe after I'll look for that mate creature and mate for only the pack health of course.
