Chapter 5

Chapter 5- a new threat

what the heck? what other secrets will i discover here? who knew shadow had a brother? (apparently no one). (not even shadow himself). It was silent for a good while (i mean can you blame us?) "i think we should head back to sonic's and try to get a better understanding of this". we all shook our heads in agreement, all except for ashes. "why in the hell would i listen to a bunch of idiots, such as yourselfs"? "i can do what i want and no one can tell me otherwise". (he is just like shadow). "look, brother....". "Don't you DARE call me brother again, you.......faker"! "i follow my own path, not an amature's". ashes then super speed ran, out the door. 'great how are we gonna get to the bottom of all this now?' i thought to myself. 'i have my own ways' shadow responded in my head. "of course you do". i smiled back.       Ashes point-of-view:   can't even believe that they think i'm one of them. Hell with them! i'm the ultimate and that red and black hedgehog is not my brother! i started getting closer to a yellow mansion, where i saw a pink hedgehog in a red dress. My heart in my chest started to hurt. she looked so beautiful, like maria. i wish i knew her name, or phone number, or anything for that matter. maybe i should go talk to her. what is this feeling inside me? it's a sign of weakness! i will not have it! i then looked back at the pink hedgehog and my feelings insided me got stronger. i should just go hi, and be cool about it. i was stumbling while slowly walking over there, whern i saw a blue hedgehog stood beside her. i growled. (the blue hedgehog is now my enemy).  ~  i watched as the pink and blue hedgehogs communicated with each other. (i think it's time to show that blue hedgehog, who's boss around here). i got into fighting position and super ran into a move i like to call 'powerkick'. i powerkicked the blue hedgehog in the chin and sent him flying through the window of the mansion. "SONIC"! the pink hedgehog screamed. (so that's the useless hedgehog's name). i walked over to the pink hedgehog. "What do you want"?!? she yelled worried. i then got closer to her. "Get away from me"! she yelled. i was then tackled to the ground by sonic. "don't you dare come near amy again"!       i then touched sonic on his arm, and my hand started glowing orange. "what the...."?    he said. i started draining his powers. "what are you doing.....to......me"? he was slowing down. "Sonic"! yelled a yellow, two tailed fox, with others, running towards us. i then threw sonic to the ground. "leave them alone"! yelled a red echidna. i just smiled. "let's get this over with".    Normal point-of-view:  we all started walking back. shadow wouldn't look at maria. Maria sighed. Maria then ran in front of us and turned around. to get our attention."look, i'm sorry  i betrayed you all".  "i was just confused and heart broken". Shadow kept walking foward. maria grabbed his hand. "i love you dad, please accept me back in your life".  shadow said nothing, but slowly turned around. "i love you with all my heart, that will never change". he continued. "i'm just disappointed in you and were not as close as i thought we were". it became silent. we then heard fighting up ahead. "do you guys here that"? i asked. "yeah, come on"! yelled shadow. as we got closer to the commotion, we saw some of our friends hurt, on the ground. thier stood ashes, holding up my sister tina with one hand, and was making a fist with the other. (i am now getting really mad). "STOP"! i yelled. ashes turned around and saw us. "Put her down"! ashes then smiled evilly. "oh yeah, well who's gonna make me"? i then gathered up my energy and water blasted him in the mansion. tina landed safely on the ground. "is everyone ok"? shadow asked. everyone got up very slowly and nodded. Ashes walked slowly out of the house and glared at me. "i'm gonna make you wish you never did that". he said coldly. as he started running towards me, three girls stood by my side, which caused him to fall down. (considering when we held hands, we made a strong forcefield). "what"? asked ashes. it was me, lilly, nyla, and jazmine. (we haven't seen her in a while, considering she's always off doing her own thing). "we are the four elements of power"! we 4 yelled. "fire"! yelled lilly and gathered up her energy to attack. "Earth"! yelled jazmine, ready for action. "telekinesis  and wind"! yelled nyla, aiming at his head. (and finally me). "and water"! i yelled, gathering up my energy. "powers unite"! we 4 yelled. we then attacked him at the same time., which made him retreat. he ran off into the woods. "we did it"! yelled lilly, hugging nyla. everyone started to cheer. (everyone except me and shadow). "shadow, are you ok"? i asked. he just walked away into the mansion.  (i wonder what else will happen to us now, since we have a new threat among us known as ashes the hedgehog?) i sure hope we can get to the bottom fo this soon and put an end to this madness or discover more than just a new rival everytime. i then went into the house. "we'll all find out soon enough". i thought to myself as the rest of us went and did thier own thing.
