Chapter 18

Chapter 18- evil overpowered

shadow's point-of-view: we kept walking for a good while until we reached G.U.N. Headquarters. "i must seek help from G.U.N.". "Come on Rouge"! i yelled as me and her bursted through the doors. "commander"? "we need to talk to.....". Rouge was then shot in the leg with a sleeping dart as she collapsed and passed out. "Rouge"! i yelled. "not so fast......shadow the hedgehog". i slowly turned around. "Jarlen". i growled."Do you honestly think i'm gonna let you live after you killed my partner"? "She almost killed sophie and she killed maria"! "well, looks like you'll be joining her". he smirked. i immediately kicked him in the face and his gun went flying to the other side of the room. i grabbed rouge and super sped out of the building.

~ when i came outside, i put rouge down and saw everyone beat up and some were tied up and knocked out. "Shadow, look out"! amy yelled. i felt a gun shot to my head and i fell down. my eyes sight went blurry and i passed out.

~Ashes' point-of-view: i heard a gun shot from a distance, which made me worry. i super sped towards the commotion.

~i reached there and hid in the bushes but got a good view of what was going on. i saw everyone was hurt or knocked out and tied up. "you killed him, you bastard"! yelled amy, full of rage. she was looking at this squirrel. (i think her name was sally, but i thought she was on our side? also, where is sophie at when you need her?) l looked closer to see shadow on the ground, unconcious. "Actually, he's just stunned.......for now". she laughed villianiously. i then saw a boy bat come up to her. "shall we go sally, we don't wanna keep him waiting". she nodded and the bat picked shadow up and those two disappeared. i jumped out of the bushes. (what do they mean by 'him' anyway?) "Ashes"! yelled amy. everyone else was knocked out and beaten down to the ground. (all except amy). i untied her and she started letting soem tears fall. "i hope sonic and everyone else is ok". she sniffed. (i know she's very worried about all of this and i would be too). i felt my heart sink watching her cry. all i could do was comfort her. i pulled her into a hug. "i will make everything better and we will save them and I WILL protect you........i promise you". "thank you, ashes". she replied as i wiped her tears away. "let's go get our friends back".

normal-point-of-view: i opened my eyes and looked around. (i'm alive? huh. i must've just disappeared to another location). "where in mobius am i"? i said out loud. i then saw different types of animals come at me with spears and other weapons. "i don't think i'm on mobius anymore". i started to run in the opposite direction when someone tackled me to the ground. "who are you stranger"? "i'm sophie.........who are you"? "i'm hyperion, rubius' finest guard for princess melanie". said a brown and black dog. my jaw dropped. (oh my gosh!) "are you a helper for Lazarus"? "what......NO"! i yelled. (i now know where i am). "look, hyperion, maybe you can help me". "why would i help someone that i don't know if you could be a threat"? "because my world is in trouble and one of your people are in danger too". "like who"? he glared. (probably not believing me.). "Acheron". he wore a blank face and then turned back into a glare. "that's impossible"! "he's guarding our master emerald and is a strong guradian who doesn't get captured that easily". i then huffed up. "well then go check for yourself". he then got off of me. "very well then". guards surrounded me as he lead the way to the master emerald. "just in case your lieing". i then glared.

~ we arrived at an island. (ironic huh?) this master emerald was blue instead of green. hyperion went up  to it. "oh master emerald.......show me where Acheron, the guradian of you is". as the emerald shined bright, his eyes went wide.

~when the emerald stopped shining; he slowly came over to me. he got on one knee. "you were right; except my apology Sophia Brook; the element of water". i gasped. "h-h-how did you know that"? he got back up. "the master emerald told me and showed me where Acheron is". "i sensed danger from him along with others that he seems to know now". (he must be talking about my friends). "i know, that's why i gotta get back". he then nodded. "i didn't know you were from Mobius, home of the mobians such as the blue blur, who is faster than the speed of sound". i nodded. "oh no.....sally"! i yelled. "who"? he asked. "listen, i gotta get back to mobius and save my friends, before it's too late". he then shook his head in understanding. "i think you'll need some help". "Come"! he yelled as i followed him to the castle.

~ he lead me to the princess. "princess melanie, sorry to barge in but we need your assistance". he explained her the whole situation and caught her up. "i see, so Acheron is in trouble and so are your friends and maybe worse"? she asked. "precisely". said hyperion agreeing. "i have a portal that can take you there in time". "thank you". "i'm not done". she said. "i also want to accompany you on your journey". "but princess, it could get dangerous". "you might get killed"! yelled hyperion. "hyperion, he's my protector and friend and also your friend". "we must stop hiding in fear and fight to save who we love". he then nodded in understanding. "ok". "i'll come along for you princess and he is my best friend". (Awww. how very touching.)

~  we then entered the portal and arrived on angel island. (yes were back baby!) i then saw.......amy? she was bawling her eyes out. "amy"? she immediately turned around and hugged me tight. "oh my god; i thought you were dead". "who are they"? "i'll explain later, where is everyone"?  "sally took shadow away and everyone went after her". "ashes came back and wanted to keep me safe from harm, so he ordered me to stay here, but then he and the rest were attacked by a shadow army"! "a shadow army"? i asked. "yes, and they captured everyone, excpet me, tails, and cream". "When you mean shadow army, do you mean......?" "both". shadow the hedgehog clones made out of shadows". i gasped. (i'm gonna kill this bastard if it's the last thing i do!) my phone started to ring. "hello"? "if you want to see your friends again, come to Soleanna, to the ancient castle, in kingdom valley". he hung up. (oh my god!) "who was that"? asked amy. "the person behind all of this". "Amy, you, tails, and cream, go back to sonic's house; ok"?  "but......". "no butts". "i don't want to lose anyone else". "i have some unfinish business to take care of". i pulled out my chaos emerald and me and the two people from rubius vanished. (the last words of amy was 'good luck sophie').
