"Hello?!" Billy called as he walked out.

Valorie followed him, looking around the vast area before them. She noticed a glass terrarium-type thing was broken, some glass shards scattered along the stony ground.

What happened here?

Suddenly, they heard the sound of a train leaving and when they turned around the subway train was nowhere in sight.

"What the hell? Who's doing this?!" Billy shouted into the cave, backing up to be closer to the girl behind him.

Valorie gulped and looked at him. When he looked back at her she smiled to try and lighten the mood.

It didn't seem to work, but he appreciated the gesture.

Billy spotted an entranceway that led to a throne room of sorts and walked further into the room with Valorie cautiously following him.

As they're walking, she noticed someone sitting at the far end of the room. When they got closer, Billy stopped walking which left her to stop beside him. He cleared his throat, prompting the withered man to stand up.

"Hi, um, we were supposed to get off on 30th."

"Billy Batson." The strange man announced as he walked towards them. You can tell he was old as he struggled to get to the two teenagers.

Billy put his arm out in front of Valorie and lightly pushed her behind him as the man got closer.

"How do you know my name?" Billy asked when the man stood in front of them, towering over them considering he was taller.

"I am the last of the Council of Wizards. Keeper of the Rock of Eternity."

A wizard? Sure.

"Oh. You're...that guy. Listen, I don't have any money," Billy replied to the supposed wizard.

"Do not patronize me, boy!" The wizard aggressively said, his firm voice bouncing off the walls creating a rumble of an echo.

He slammed his staff on the ground and a strange spark of energy flew out.

Magic? Ok, maybe he is a wizard.

Billy gently pushed Valorie back a couple of steps as he backed up as well.

The magic surrounded them as the wizard spoke, playing out the story he was telling.
