Valorie managed to get past her aunt and uncle without any problems and go up to her room.
She changed into more comfortable clothes and grabbed her coat from her closet while she decided to wait a few minutes before sneaking out.
After a few minutes of being on her phone and playing a pointless game that she would probably delete the next day, she walked over to her window and slid it open before carefully climbing out.
Luckily, there is a tree right by the window. Since her room is on the second story she can use the tree to climb down.
It's very convenient.
Once her feet were safely planted on the snowy ground, she walked back to where she previously left Billy.
A couple of meters away from her, she spotted Billy talking to Freddy.
She knew he would find a way to get Freddy out there.
Valorie made her way over to them quietly, as to not disturb their conversation, and only caught the end of what they were saying.
"-how do I know you're not a supervillain making me think that you're Billy when you're really not?" Freddy was asking him rather cautiously.
Valorie now stood beside them getting ready to interrupt their chat. It's understandable that Freddy would react like this. Who would believe that their new foster brother magically turned into an adult man wearing a superhero outfit?
"I can confirm his story," Valorie spoke up, gaining both of their attention.
"Finally you show up!" Billy exclaimed causing Valorie to playfully roll her eyes.
"Valorie? What is going on here?" Freddy seemed genuinely confused, even more so now that she showed up.
"Freddy, I know this is incredibly ridiculous and unbelievable. This sounds crazy but Billy is telling the truth. I was there when it happened to him." Valorie finished and let her words sink in.
Freddy's facial expression held both shock and amazement as he turned to Billy.
"Can I...?" Freddy trailed off.
"Oh yeah, yeah." Billy started to smile a bit.
Freddy put his hand up to the lightning bolt symbol that was on the suit. Electricity came off and seemed to attach to Freddy's fingertips. He then let out a noise of pure enjoyment. As Valorie watched their moment, she started to feel a little bit out of place.
