"You're very pretty."

Taehyun side-glanced at the blonde male with a raised eyebrow. "Again? You've said so a hundred times today."

"Because it's true," Beomgyu said with a grin. "You're my pretty boy."

Taehyun turned to him suddenly. "Thank you for walking me home. I'm sure you have a long way to go now."

Beomgyu smiled. "But you'll know I'll do anything for you, Taehyun."

The younger male blushed and looked away. He giggled and hit Beomgyu's arm. "Go on, now. I'll see you tomorrow at school."

Beomgyu held his hand out, his pinky protruding while the rest of his hand was in a fist. "Promise?"

Taehyun connected their pinkies. "I promise."

The older was about to say something, but an all too familiar car pulled up from down the road. Beomgyu's face turned stone cold as the car approached them with its angry tinted windows. The car stopped beside them, the window nearest to them rolling down.

"In the car. Now." The man driving didn't waste any time. Beomgyu sighed, looking at Taehyun with apologetic eyes. "Hurry up, time is ticking."

"Bye," Taehyun said quickly so that Beomgyu could actually move. Beomgyu nodded and finally got into the car. As soon as he closed the door, the car drove away. Taehyun's expression, once happy, became more melancholy at the lack of Beomgyu's presence.

"Who was that person, anyways? He's rude…"

"What did I tell you about seeing that boy?"

Beomgyu kept his mouth shut, refusing to talk to his father. He rather crossed his arms, staring out of the window in anger. The older man sighed fiercely, glaring at his son through the rear-view mirror.

"If I ever see you with that boy again—"

"Then what? What are you going to do? Lock me up in my room?" Beomgyu snapped, his arms uncrossing in anger. "You've done that before. It didn't work."

"Unfortunately," the man grumbled bitterly. "I will not allow you to put shame upon our family."

"What are you so afraid of?" Beomgyu demanded. "It's not like Soobin doesn't have a certain guy that he's casually having sex w—"

"Your brother is already a disgrace to this family!" the man yelled. "I will not allow you to shame our family name with this horrid sexuality of yours! You will not be seeing that boy ever again. If you do go to that boy one more time, I'll send you to another country."

"You wouldn't dare. I'm your insurance," Beomgyu said, folding his arms again. "I know you're not going to give that house to Soobin — you already don't like him. I have to get that house so that it doesn't get sold."

"No one said I didn't like Soobin," the man told him. "He may be gay, but he's intelligent. He uses his brain — unlike you, who is prone to failing school subjects. That's your first disgrace to the family. The second would be to get into a relationship with a man. I will not ket you disgrace us like that."

"It's 2019, grow up," Beomgyu rolled his eyes. "No one cares about gays. You're literally the only one that is worried."

"I'm not. There are people that look at us and see two gays, which are a disgrace to society," the man snapped. "I don't want to hear another word from you. Shut your mouth. You're not seeing that boy again."

Taehyun was worried the next day. School had already started and Beomgyu had yet to arrive. Soobin was already at school, which was extremely odd. Taehyun sat beside Kai in the homeroom class, tapping his hands on the table nervously.

"Have you seen Beomgyu this morning?" he eventually asked, turning to the younger male beside him.

"Nope," Kai replied, shaking his head. "By the way, his brother's boyfriend, Yeonjun hyung, is starting to act really nice with me. He and Soobin hyung both. It's weird."

"They can tell that you're gay," Taehyun joked. The younger rolled his eyes playfully.

"How are you and Beomgyu hyung doing?" Kai asked, leaning back in his seat.

"Well, we went on a date yesterday. He wanted to call it a date, so we agreed that it was a date," Taehyun grinned suddenly as he spoke. "We got ice tea at Galaxy and I bought a new Go Ji Hyun book. It started good, by the way. The main character is called Hanseong. Anyways, after the cafe, we walked home together, but a car came and took him away, which sucked. But my day was nice."

Kai smiled sadly. "I want a boyfriend."

"We can date," Taehyun said, putting his head on Kai's shoulder. "But you like Soobin hyung, don't you?"

"I don't," Kai mumbled, his cheeks turning red nonetheless.

"You do," Taehyun said quickly. "Unless you like Yeonjun?"

Kai was silent for a moment. "What if I like both?"

Taehyun stared in shock. "No. You don't."

Kai covered his face with his hands as his cheeks tinted a soft pink. "I do…"

"Oh my God…" Taehyun mumbled before laughing boisterously. "I can't believe you like both of them! What the hell? When?"

Kai hummed for a moment. "A while, but I only fell for Yeonjun hyung recently. He's… he's just really attractive and he looks really good on his Instagram. Jesus, help me, he's really hot."

Taehyun couldn't help but laugh again. "Oh my God, I didn't expect this. I'm genuinely surprised. Both at the same time — and they're practically dating each other."

Kai stretched his arms up, looking around nervously. He gave Taehyun a sharp look before shushing him. "Don't speak so loudly about it."

Taehyun sighed. "So I'll be single and all alone while you engage in a polygamous relationship. I'm sad now."

"Join us," Kai joked for a moment, allowing the slightly older male to laugh. "But what should I do? I can't just tell them that I like them. Plus, the fact that they've been really nice to me nowadays doesn't help. It's as if they're drawing me in to be nearer to them."

"How have they been doing this?" Taehyun asked, curiosity lacing his voice.

Kai hummed before shrugging. "Yeonjun hyung would hold my waist sometimes, and he'd whisper in my ear a lot. Soobin hyung backhugs me a lot. He's weird with me, but it makes me blush like the dumb idiot I am. I've… I've fallen for them both."

Taehyun laughed breathily, shaking his head in mock disappointment. "I don't know what you're gonna do, buddy."

Kai put his head down on the table. "I'll go die in a hole, that's what I'll do."
