Even as a loving and perfect boyfriend, Beomgyu couldn't really keep his 'other' personality hidden really well, even when he was with Taehyun. Even when they spent most of their time together, some random guy part of Beomgyu's clique would come start a conversation about a random girl that he thought was cute, or about their soccer game the day before.

Taehyun didn't really want to call Beomgyu's group of friends 'irritating', because Beomgyu actually liked his own group of friends. They just had that dynamic that Taehyun couldn't really understand. It was the dynamic of the popular crowd, and Taehyun knew he'd never really understand, no matter how hard he tried. After all, he had one close friend - Kai Huening.

But even Kai was making more friends - well, boyfriends. It didn't come as much of a shock as it should have when Kai told him that he was in a polyamorous relationship with Yeonjun and Soobin. In fact, Taehyun predicted it - but now that Kai was spending so much time with his boyfriends, and Beomgyu was with his friends, Taehyun feared being alone.

"Baby?"

Taehyun looked to his right when he heard the nickname Beomgyu called him often. Beside him was his oh-so-loving boyfriend, Choi Beomgyu. Taehyun looked back, seeing that his entire class had already left - including Kai. His shoulders slumped as he thought about how his best friend had just abandoned him to be with his boyfriends.

"Hi, Beommie," Taehyun smiled weakly.

Beomgyu frowned. "What's wrong? Where's your bestie?"

Taehyun sighed. "Probably making out with your brother's boyfriend. What am I saying, Kai is scared to kiss his mother, never mind his boyfriend-"

"So he abandoned you?" Beomgyu asked. Taehyun sighed as Beomgyu worded his thoughts perfectly. He slowly nodded, his eyes falling to the ground. The blonde male took Taehyun's hand, making the younger frown.

"I thought you and Jehyung were going to hang out," Taehyun stuttered, actually attempting to pull his hand away from Beomgyu.

Beomgyu pouted. "As, you know I'll always choose you above everyone else, kitty."

Taehyun's cheeks turned bright red. "K-kitty?! Where did that come from?!"

Beomgyu took Taehyun's waist and pulled him closer. "Relax, baby. Come, I'll stay with you during lunch."

Taehyun sighed. "What about Jehyung?"

"Then come with me, if you're so worried about him," Beomgyu rolled his eyes. "Point is, I'm not leaving you to be alone. You're stuck with me, remember?"

Taehyun smiled. "Unfortunately."

Beomgyu took his boyfriend's hand and pulled him close as they began walking. "How was your day so far?"

"Terrible," Taehyun groaned. "They moved the due date for our English essay forward by 3 days, and I still have no idea what to write!"

Beomgyu made a sound of gentle pity and ran his fingers through the younger's hair. "Aw, my poor baby! You'll do great in your essay, okay?"

"It's not just the essay that made my day crap," Taehyun sighed. "Kai is abandoning me for his boyfriends, you're abandoning me for your friends, I'm not prepared for the physics class test in 6th period, I got a detention note for wearing a hoodie - and it's only lunch now!"

Beomgyu's smile fell. "D... do you think I'm abandoning you? Baby, I'll never abandon you for anything! You're my number one, okay? Always. My sweet little angel."

Taehyun smiled softly as Beomgyu kissed his cheek. "Ah, you're so embarrassing, honestly. I can't stand you sometimes."

"But you still love me," Beomgyu teased. "Let's abandon Jehyung for lunch. I want to be with you now. Only you."
