Should have asked you out sooner

Chapter 14

Josh was up early this morning and off to the gym.  Damn I wish I had his dedication.  I do a zumba class with Bel once a week and do 20 minutes sessions on my stepper when I’m at home.  I really think I need to up my game though.  I mean if I’m dating a guy with a body that fit and toned I want to look good.  All I need is a photo of me with a muffin top overhanging my jeans or wobbly arms.  I have started eating better lately.  I always ate healthy.  I just had a really big thing for pastries and cakes and I have to curb that now before the paparazzi attach a wide load sign to my ass.

Josh did ask me if I wanted to come with him this morning but I don’t want to embarrass myself just yet.  So down stairs I go for some muesli and yoghurt then grab my ipod and jump on the stepper.  I was in my own little world singing and shaking my ass to Little Bad Girl totally oblivious to the fact that Josh had come back and was sitting on the couch behind me.

I stopped and  looked down to change songs and there was Driver sitting patiently beside me and wagging his tail.  ‘Oh sweetie when did you get here’.  I stepped off the machine and bent down to cuddle him.  I turned to see Josh grinning at me.

‘How long have you been there?’ I ask

‘Oh like maybe 5 minutes’.  he says with a smirk

‘So you thought you’d  just sit down and stare at my sweaty butt, I feel so classy right now Josh’.  I shook my head.

‘ Sorry baby but I couldn’t help it.  You have a very nice ass’. he says

‘I feel like I have a jelly butt’  I state.

‘No way’ says Josh getting up and placing his hands firmly on my backside.  ‘It’s perfect, not even a slight jiggle’,  ‘Your ass is like a firm peach’.

‘You know how to say the right things to a girl Mr Hutcherson’  I lean in and kiss him.

‘ I thought you were going straight home’.

‘ Needed a few things for my boy here so I thought he’d like to come visit his favourite girl before we went home’.

‘Awe your just adorable’ I say to Josh while pinching his cheeks. ‘So what time are you picking your mum up’ 

‘A little after noon’.  ‘You wanna come with or wait at my place.  I was going to organise lunch at home and thought the three of us would go out for dinner with some friends tonight’.  ‘You two can get better acquainted over lunch, she’s been dying to meet you’.

‘How about I have a shower and come over to your place and I’ll help with lunch’.  ‘Gotta make a good impression’.  I say

‘Baby the best impression you can make is to be yourself’.  he said giving me a quick kiss.  ‘You can shower with me at my house, throw some stuff in a bag and come with me’. 

‘Ugh ok, come help me find some clothes’.    

I bound up the stairs followed by Josh carrying Driver. Josh grabs a gym bag and I start throwing clothes at him to pack.  As I sling a few pieces of underwear his direction he holds up a thong I’d accidentally thrown. ‘ I don’t believe I’ve seen this on you before’ he says rather excitedly holding up a flesh toned thong with diamante strip along the back.

‘And you wont while your mother is in town’ I say taking it from him ‘ It looks like I have no underwear on only a strip of sparkly diamante’s’.

‘What’s wrong with that’ he protests.

‘I want your mum to think I’m a nice girl ok not a slut Josh’.
